it was all good saturday when i was dumping some files to it so no problem until today upon reboot to apply the update but i can downgrade if it is a safe route to go

will try to test it tomorrow ASAP and report back. we cant trust on onboard Lan 😥

on copying its impossible to open any folder to work on this server at this moment... damn slow! if copying is finished i can read super fast and open folders as usual... so my last parity check was on day 1 all good but thinking that either something got messed up this new update on this server or something going on on the disk side..

thought it was fixed but no. Same problem on copying. can read perfect, did try another network card on the system but its the same. diagnostic log provided as requested.

So i did the upgrade to latest version on all servers and all seem to be fine except one that is giving me normal read speeds but poor write speeds. Nothing changed from yesterday to today except the upgrade to 6.7.0 server is on a Asus P8H61 with a i7-2600k Already did a reboot a few hours ago but same problem... cant write nothing fast on this server at the moment Thanks in advance

So to give some update on this... i've brought the server to work and did the same check on the usb and also give a cleanup inside the case. It boots now. Checking the parity, got 2 dock's giving error upon updating them... waiting for the parity check to finish right now..

Hi, i've done this latest updated and on one of the servers it booted with this message "unraid USB drive is not read-write"... new reboot on it and i dont see it online (i'm currently @work so remote access only).. Any idea on how to fix this or what caused it? Best regards,

Hi, loving the system so much that i'm giving some additional work to my personal NAS that just sits there idling.. and getting the download dockers on it for a dedicated hard drive so that the hard drivers from the array can spin off for most of the week. Also taking the opportunity to pass from torrent (with vpn) on a windows machine to newsgroups which brings me to a question on the Sonarr support... i used it for quite some time but with the option to keep seeding so i always had my downloads sitting on the dedicated torrent drive and copied automatically to my Plex Storage machine but now with newsgroups there is no need to seed so its automatically moved instead of copied to the Storage. There shouldn't be any problem except to get the subtitles... following the history download path after 1 week its quite a few episodes to go one by one... What are you guys doing for this situation? Filebot is the only program to use to get auto subtitles? I would prefer not to have a program scanning the storage for subtitles (kinda big library...) but if the files are moved... not sure what i can do about it. Another question is about the docker hanging... yesterday it did it and i thought it was due to me starting this with an external drive.. so i put an additional hard drive inside the machine but today... hanging... i click and it just stays opening forever... radarr is working fine so same setup was applied and it should all be good. quick update... no luck on restart or stop so... force shutdown the unRAID (again) Thanks for the time to read this guys. Sorry for the trouble... found the issue!! i'll just go drink another coffee to wake up... ehehhe server 3 is with public share so... no user/pass allowed me to load up the shares.

Hi, i have 3 unRAID servers and i was trying to mount on one for them the 2 media folders... I fill the data for one of the servers and load up the remote shares without any problem but for the second one no luck... i fille the ip, user / pass, press the load shares and no luck. I've tried on the second unRAID to remote load the third server... same problem... Any pointers on what can be disabled or conflicting? Everything is the same as far as i can think off.. shares, users, passwords.. Thanks in advance

@Frank1940 it fixed!! i dont have any docker installed except the good NetData but maybe some of the old files/permissioes were inside some folders... but not everything is working fine!! Thanks for the pointer!

So.. an update on this, is that everything went well :-) Just got a little problem now regarding permissions... Both servers have the Media folder and inside that there are folder that i can write and others that i cant write even if a set it as public... and i've been banging on this... Any pointers? @SSD Thanks for the reply The intent is to remove all the 3Tb's hard drivers and to split 1 server into 2. So i'll keep half drives with DATA on a new config on a new server and do the same with the other half also using a new config. Movies on 8Tb's on 1 server Shows on 6Tb's on 2 server instead of one big server full with smaller drivers. Since all the data was moved from 3Tb's to the corresponding 6'Tb and 8Tb's a new config on a new server should pick up all disks with DATA. At lease... in theory ehhehe
