  1. How much do you reckon shipping to San Antonio, Texas would be.. I need something to replace my aging N34L - so I've already got 7 drives to stick in something - just need something with a bit of room and a little bit more oomph
  2. Its also been released on sourceforge unlike beta2, so not sure why we aren't being prompted to update. https://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbdplus/files/sabnzbdplus-beta/0.8.0Beta3/ Because the plugin is still checking http://sabnzbdplus.sourceforge.net/version/latest Which hasn't been updated (since it's no longer the preferred method) EDIT: I've PM'd shypike to ask if he'll update that 'latest' file for us again and to confirm which file we should ask PhAzE nicely to read instead :-) EDIT2: HE said he'll update it next time round, but that https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.github.io/master/latest.txt is the file we want to use going forward (hint, hint PhAzE :-) )
  3. As I said in my post - I know we were talking about different pages.. It's a different use case to you, that doesn't make it any less valid. There are some forums that I have no interest in reading, yet the home page will show them in bold to indicate unread messages, why should I have to scroll to the bottom of the page to get to that functionality. Naturally if you don't want to do it from the home page - just don't click the button
  4. Thats curious - I don't! Although thats because we are talking about different places - Your image refers to having click on 'Unread Messages' at the top of each section, whereas I want it on the main page (where it currently sits at the very bottom). I like reading the forums that interest me, then marking all forums as read so I can see easily the changes, rather than having to go into each section individually.
  5. Hi, Something that has bugged me for ages and I've never bothered mentioning it. How difficult would it be to move (or duplicate) the 'Mark All Messages Read' button to the top of the page rather than it being lost at the bottom.. Thanks for considering..
  6. Not yet When SAB moves to github rather than sourceforge there will be a 'new' file to track the latest versions - but until they do we won't know where it is. :-) As for the root certs - that's strange - i'm assuming when the plugin imports them it also does the equivalent of the 'update-ca-certificates'? Certainly as soon as I'd done a installpkg on that file that I linked to everything started working perfectly..
  7. Meh - upgrade now works, but we're back to the problem of the root certificates being invalid again (and the previous patch no longer appears to work in 0.8.0) PhAzE - sorry to be a pain - but what do we have to do to figure out why the root certs aren't correct on 5.x So it should make it work for now (and indeed I have just updated through the plugin!!) - but we'll need to ask PhAzE nicely for a different approach in the future ;-) EDIT: And fixed it myself (at least temporarily) wget http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-current/slackware/n/ca-certificates-20150426-noarch-2.txz installpkg ca-certificates-20150426-noarch-2.txz And I'm back to downloading again...
  8. Hi reply from Shypike on the SAB boards.. --- Done. We're moving this file to github, so when 0.8.0 comes out, the SF file will be stuck pointing at an 0.8.0 upgrade. --- So it should make it work for now (and indeed I have just updated through the plugin!!) - but we'll need to ask PhAzE nicely for a different approach in the future ;-)
  9. Yep - and the plugin gets that to check the MD5 - however it checks the URL I mentioned first (in app_newver() ) to find out what the latest version is in the first place... The URL you linked to shows all versions of the application but gives no indication as to what the most recent one is, which is why phaze sensibly relies on the 'latest' url to actually give the correct answer :-)
  10. Just a headsup for anyone else who wanted the beta version of SABnzbd and wondered why the plugin doesn't grab it.. The plugin relies on reading http://sabnzbdplus.sourceforge.net/version/latest and that file is out of date and still lists alpha2 (and the plugin ignores alpha's anyway!) I've sent a mail to shypike on the SB forums to see if he can update it for us - at which point it should start working again..
  11. Hi --recursive *should* work - I added it to the git line in rc.Sickrage file and told it to upgrade and it pulled in all the code.. As for SAB - well I've fixed it - but only by patching SAB as per http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18565 - some issue with the root certificates? If nothing has changed (which I don't doubt) is there a reason why it would get it wrong - anything in particular I should look for?
  12. Hey 3 Questions.. 1. Sickrage - did you see my earlier question regarding adding --recursive (or getting the contrib submodule some other way) 2. SABnzbd - Since I've upgrade to the latest 3.0 version, it seems that SAB can no longer grab NZB files from many providers - it *looks* like a python version change might have upset the SSL certificates again (I'm sure we've been through this before!) - is there anything that I should/can do to try and resolve it? 3. SABnzbd (again) - can we get it to upgrade to the 0.8 beta? - changing the setting to 'Beta' doesn't seem to do it.. I'm still on 5 BTW (no chance of upgrading to 6 until Xmas when I get re-united with my server again...)
  13. Hey PhAzE For Sickrage - could you add --recursive to the git clone line so that it correctly brings in the new nzbtoMedia submodule that they have imported into contrib? Cheers Chris
  14. Well done! I'm currently using the SickBeard plugin (pointing to the SickRage repo) - if I want to use the new SickRage specific plugin is there anyway to transfer the settings across (other than by hand?) Cheers Chris
  15. Is tunnelling via SSH considered insecure?
  16. I had the exact same issue on a remote unRaid system that I manage. Luckily the user was around to pull the stick and put it in a Windows PC to copy over the needed folder. It would be nice to get this worked out. I have 2 more remote unRaid systems to upgrade. Likewise - I'm 4500 miles away from mine and can't take the chance that it won't boot!
  17. Further update If (from the command line) I run the EXPORTs from startcfg.sh I can then run python from the command line (and can see its 2.7.10) I can see cheetah is installed in /usr/local/PhAzE-Common/usr/bin as it should be If I try and run it it complains bash: /usr/local/PhAzE-Common/usr/bin/cheetah: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory /usr/bin/python isn't there... Shouldn't it be looking for it in /usr/local/PhAzE-Common/usr/bin ? Presumably if python was in /usr/bin then it would be accessible from the commandline without requiring all your careful work to keep it separate.. On the offchance I upgraded Sab and CP to the latest plugins too.. now SAB wont' start either due to the lack of Cheetah :-(
  18. Hey PhAzE I'm still running unRaid 5 with your excellent plugins and I just noticed that SickBeard (well SickRage) isn't starting any more. I've updated to the latest plugin version and that hasn't helped. I tweaked the rc.Sickbeard file so that I could see the output from Sick Beard as it starts up and it says The Python module Cheetah is required. I've tried re-installing the plugin and it says it's skipping python-cheetah as it's already installed! What can I do to either resolve the problem, or help debug it further? Cheers!
  19. Would be nice if those of us who can't yet upgrade to v6 could also vote for the future... Why can't you upgrade? We don't have plans to enable voting outside of the webgui at this time. The voting is locked to one per running v6 system. For this particular poll, I wouldn't want you cast a vote anyway. That's because the question is what your new favorite v6 feature is. Since you're not running v6, you can't really have one yet as you haven't experienced them!! Because I'm currently sat about 5000 miles away from my unraid server (it's in the UK and I'm in the US) and I won't be re-united with it for another 4-5 months, apart from that it runs a number of plugins which I need to work out how to change to dockers, I couldn't make_bootable the flash drive if necessary, nor if I restarted it in 6.0 could I ssh in easily.. With no-one in the house who can troubleshoot issues if it goes wrong - would you upgrade it?? Despite that I've followed the v6 discussions, threads and debates avidly and probably know as much about the features of 6 as the people who are using it - so why shouldn't I have a favourite item that I'm looking forward to or would like to see improved in the future? If I was next to the server it would have been upgraded the day of release - I've even contemplated purchasing new hardware to build a second server - just to upgrade to 6.x.. (I already purchased the 2nd key!) Don't alienate your customer base just because they haven't upgrade on day 1...
  20. Would be nice if those of us who can't yet upgrade to v6 could also vote for the future...
  21. What does ls -las /dev/disk/by-id show? The disk list is built out of those devices that start with sata- (and don't contain -part). If your devices began ata- for example, they wouldn't be found..
  22. Thanks for the suggestions - now to source one of those in the UK, although I guess to start with I could leave the top on and just remove the front bay cover (since the server is not visible anyway) Not sure that I really want to add a 2nd 2.5" drive, but it seems a waste not to use the controller ;-) Cheers
  23. Hi, I've been running my N36L for the last year with 5 x 2TB drives and a 320Gb cache drive, which got to the point of being rather full I've just installed the 6th 2TB drive but I note that the two drives in the double twin in the ODD are getting rather warm.. Does anyone have any suggestions for good mechanisms for cooling them? I assume leaving the top off is not necessarily a good idea as it it won't help airflow? I've got a 2 channel RocketRaid 620 to give me the extra drive, but someone mentioned having 2 2x2.5" under the ODD - how do you that to fit?? Chris
