In looking for how to format a disk, I came across this: "You dont need to "format" disks to add them to an array. UnRAID will automatically preclear the disk, format and bring it online when you configure the array." This is how I remember it, too.

Nope...there isn't anything on it. I took it out of the box and shoved it in the server. I don't remember having to do anything else with it before...pretty sure I just put it in, add it to the array, it clears, bob's your auntie. I'm not even sure off hand how to format a disk in unRAID. lol

Good morning: Did some searching around and saw some posts about "unmountable disks" but nothing like what I'm experiencing. All the ones I saw had to do with replacing failed disks, upgrading disk size, etc. For me, though? It's a brand new disk! I put a brand new disk in, it cleared and all that, now it says "unmountable". I don't get it...why would a brand new disk be "unmountable"? Any help greatly appreciated. Never had this happen. I force-updated the container and it seems that this issue is resolved.

Anyone else seeing this? Can't edit or delete any downloads...this is first I've seen it.

Quick question: Not sure why, but all of a sudden, all my downloads are failing and showing up as "hidden". Anyone have any idea how to get NZBGet to stop marking everything as "hidden"? Any info greatly appreciated...I Googled around and couldn't find anything of interest...

Well damn it...I was tinkering and found that, if I delete the movie from Sonarr, then re-add it, it finds it and shows as downloaded. I inadvertently cleared the errors. Oops. Hahaha Next time I see it, I'll check for an error/status. Thanks.

Good morning: Recently, I've noticed downloads just stopping in Radarr. NZBGet completes, the files get renamed and moved, everything is perfect except in Radarr, where they just sit here at 100%. Is this a new/known thing or am I just doing something wrong? This makes the files sit as "downloading" forever. I tried manually importing them, I checked the download location, everything is perfect...it's just...stuck... I updated the container, restarted it, all that basic stuff, too. No change. Ideas? Thanks.

The only VM that is running has its own dedicated SSD. It isn't on the array at all and none of my other VMs are on most of the time. I'll look into moving those over but I can't imagine how they'd be affecting performance. No idea if it's filled up in the past, but it's currently using only 9GB of 30GB.

Yea, I didn't think that would be possible. That'd be a pretty huge security/privacy issue if devs could remove stuff from users' machines... Hmm...alright, I'll give that a try. I moved appdata and system to the cache but can't move domains there because it's too big. And yea, I've had to recreate Docker a few times because it poo'd the bed on me. Kind of a pain but it's an easy enough fix. Thanks for all the help!!

I noticed that, in "Previous Apps" in Community Applications, Krusader had no description... Searched for Krusader and installed the Binhex version and it seems to work fine. This is odd, and it's kind of annoying that all my settings I had in Krusader before are gone, but hey...whatever, I guess. Did the dev discontinue the app or something? Can they do that? It'd be kind of strange if a developer could make apps disappear from users' machines...

This morning, I noticed one of my Docker containers, Krusader, was missing. I thought this was odd as, sure I haven't used it in a while, but I thought it was still installed. I dunno so I reinstalled it from Community Applications. ...aaaaaaand it's still gone... I found some previous threads about Docker containers disappearing but all the threads I saw seemed to refer to ALL of the Docker containers disappearing. I only have this one that's gone. Very strange. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks!!

This is what I get when I try to install fresh. It downloads just fine, then I get the write error.

I can not for the life of me get the unRAID USB creator to work. I get this error every time I try. I've tried with a backup of my current USB and I've tried with a fresh install...same thing either way. Is there a trick to get it to work? If not, how can I do it manually? I have done it in the past but I don't remember how and I can't find the link on how to do it. Thanks!

Drive replaced, parity rebuilt...everything seems fine. I guess that drive just died. <shrug> I got a 1TB drive for the VM instead of a 2TB drive (oops) so I have to order a 2TB one but I'll dd that over once I get it and I expect it to be fine. Everything is looking good so far. Thanks, everyone!

I pulled The SanDisk out as well as the failed Disk1 and...well...I'm not sure. I don't know if it's working better now or not and I'm nervous about running the thing without parity protection so it's still shut down. Going to replace the drives. HOPEFULLY that fixes it.

So, the server is shut down right now. Has been since yesterday. If a drive really is bad, I don't want to/need to risk losing my data. (I installed Blue Iris on my desktop, connected it to that Wi-Fi network and imported a backup...BOOM...back up and running like nothing happened!!) What I'm going to do is pull both of those drives and start it up...see what happens. If it's fine, I'll put one back in...etc. We shall see. Will let you all know! Thank you!

That drive is the SSD for my security cameras VM. If it's dying, hey...no big deal! Can definitely replace it. Easy fix. But why would that cause everything ELSE to freak out? Like, now one of my array drives is dead, too. And don't even get me started on that damn USB creator thing. lol Hmm...apparently I got the wrong logs?

ANOTHER error I've never seen before. SWEET! They're like Pokemon!! GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!! I'm so annoyed...USB creator thing doesn't work, VM backup thing doesn't work, a drive is dying...LITERALLY everything is broken right now and I have no idea why. So...seriously...anyone have any ideas as to why my ENTIRE SERVER has decided to implode today?

And, why would THAT work? WHY? WHY would I expect something I've used before to work today. WHY?

On a lighter note, the Google Translate app gave some pretty hilarious results. Never had an app error out and tell me "I'm a kidnapper" or anything about "abandoning a cuddle". Hahaha
