TexasDave
My WebUI plugin page takes some time to load and sometimes will not load at all. Is this because it is looking for plugin updates or is there another well known cause for this? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
kizer
I'd guess its looking for updates. Shouldn't take long sometimes mine takes up to what I'd guess 10seconds, but it could be speed of your connection and the server its polling from. Sometimes the server its polling from could be slow or temporarily having some issues. 1 Quote Link to comment
Squid
The automatic check for updates when you hit the page is because you've got Settings - Notification Settings set to check for updates to plugins. Disabling that will cause the page to load immediately. 1 Quote Link to comment

Is this something that will be fixed at some point? Seem strange that having that check in notifications would affect the WebUI? It does not do that for Doclers? Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
Squid
That behavior is by design. But if you're using the auto update plugin to keep everything up to date, then having the OS check for updates is pointless Quote Link to comment
Sandwich
My plugins page takes 2 minutes to load. The Notifications page is set (by default, apparently) to Never Check for updates. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
