wtfcr0w
I got the notification today to upgrade, backed up my flash and while I was at it I upgraded the flash drive since the old was getting full. After the upgrade I cleanly shut down and moved my server to another shelf. Now when I boot I get a message in the Main page saying the disk is missing. I have tried different sata cables, disconnected > booted > shutdown > reconnected > booted. lsblk does not show the disk in unraid but in the bios it shows it's there every time and all smart tests pass. Edit: The disk is less than a month old, havent had an issue until now. Quote Link to comment

wtfcr0w
This is my first time submitting to the forums. I've had everything working perfecto for a while, so I'm not sure if I need to post as the entire zip or should I move this to a github repo or pastebin? unraid-diagnostics-20210408-1502.zip Quote Link to comment

I've swapped around the sata cables/ports, tried different sata power and that one Western Digital is the only one that is missing on each boot in Unraid, but the BIOS shows it's there. All of these drives, aside from the cache, have been purchased within the last month +/-. I guess I'll try ordering some replacement sata cables or a sata controller to see if that resolves the issue. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
wtfcr0w
This can be marked as solved. I swapped the sata power cable to a molex > sata adapter and the drive is recognized now. Weird, but resolved. Thanks again to each of you for your assistance Quote Link to comment
