I'm thinking of using this container as a farmer. The port mappings look a little different. The default port that farmers seem to want is 8447, but I don't see that port opened in the container's config, only 8444 and 8555. Will I need to open another port or change the port in the harvester config?

First off, a big thanks @Partition Pixel for getting the official Docker image added to Unraid as an application! Plotting is good fun, but tricky to get going well.     @Footlocker_ Yes, Pl

Just modify the template, you can see latest docker vars here: https://github.com/Chia-Network/chia-docker
Unless you plan on running different keys on separate farmers (or some other niche requirement), you are better off running a harvester only service.

Have a computer dedicated as Farmer & Harvester. Would like to move it to my Unraid server. Based on this comment am I better off virtualizing the entire machine to Unraid get this Harvester processed virtualized & add the Farmer to an existing VM?

Will need some help getting the Chia-Docker up and running but that's only if it's worth standing up as it's own machine.
