SavageAUS
Hi guys, just wondering if I should look out for anything in particular when shopping for new cables. I believe the sata 2 spec introduced clips on the sata cables. The mini sas to sata cable I have does not have clips on it so does this mean it’s sata 1 spec? I ask because when doing a disk to transfer in krusader my speeds are at like 30mbs so I’m wondering if my cables are a bottleneck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

Every operation (using the defaults of Unraid) is 4x slower than what it would be if Parity disks were not involved. Quote Link to comment

So this is solved as “normal operation”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can usually get better speeds with turbo write, at expense of all disks spinning up for writes. Quote Link to comment
