ChatNoir
It seems that the drives attached to a RAID controller previously. Is that right ? Quote Link to comment
christian_domes
Yes and now i attached it directly to the mainboard Quote Link to comment
christian_domes
But the raid controller was in hba mode. Unraid created a software raid Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Do a new config, assign them all in the previous slots and check parity is already valid before array start. Quote Link to comment
christian_domes
But when i do a new config all my data is gone Quote Link to comment

There should not be a message about formatting the drives at Array start. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
New config keeps all the data, just make sure to assign all devices as before, note also that depending on the raid controller used there's a small chance that the data devices are unmountable due to invalid partition layout, but data still won't be deleted, just don't format anything.
