The Link you are sending has Unraid as the Client and not the Host, its for the other plugin, which I dont need? I need to connect to the LUN on Unraid.

Sure but I was referring to the second picture not the first one, this is basically what you need to do.

You have assign your storage devices to the Initiators (your Linux machines) like in the posted screenshot:

The second picture doesnt look at all what I am seeing in the plugin.

I don't want to post my full configuration since I have a very complicated setup and it would probably cause more questions than it solves.

Did your read the Tutorial page?

Maybe @SimonF can help you how to assign the storage since he maintains the plugin.

  • Works like a charm! Thanks again for setting this up!

  • I hope it's okay to post a part from your syslog here:   Oct 1 11:59:21 Gen8 unassigned.devices: Disk with serial 'MSA_1040_SAN_00c0ff282747000057d6436101000000', mountpoint 'HP_MSA_1040_SAN'

  • In the log snippet above, the iscsi disk is not set to auto mount, so it will have to be mounted manually.  Not sure if that was intended.   Mounting of UD disks is done on the array started

@SimonF Could you help me solve this issue?

I deleted both the LUN, initiator and plugin and re-setup, still the same error.

Edit: I found the configfile /etc/target/saveconfig.json

I changed

          "parameters": {
            "AuthMethod": "CHAP, None",

to

          "parameters": {
            "AuthMethod": "None",

but the issue remains.

Please don't change any of these files, these are managed by targetcli exclusively.

Sorry but I can't help with that since this seems like a configuration issue.
