Hi there, hoping someone can help. since installing the "My Servers" plugin, now when I access the web GUI via IP address, it automatically resolves to https://guid.unraid.net this would be ok, but because I'm running my router as a VM, now if I take the array offline the Web GUI becomes inaccessible. How can I ensure that the GUI is accessible by IP address?

Explicitly specify https when accessing via the ip address

In Unraid 6.9 I would recommend against using SSL for the webgui if you are running your router in a VM, since true SSL requires DNS resolution of the FQDN.

 

In Unraid 6.10 there is a little more flexibility, and you can have a self-signed cert on https://[servername].[localTLD] in addition to the real cert that uses https://hash.unraid.net
