SHAHZAD KHAN
I did port forwarding (80, 443) on my router to unRAID box. I am running swag (Letsencrypt) and use generated SSL to secure web sites in home lab. Did i expose unRAID to internet? Quote Link to comment
Squid
If you're forwarding the ports, you want them forwarded to SWAG, not to the server itself so that there's at least another layer in between your server and the WAN If you forwarded the ports directly to the server's 80/443, then yes you did basically open it up and only a password is standing between you and bad actors 1 Quote Link to comment
SHAHZAD KHAN
I have changed unRAID GUI port to 8080 but haven't done anything with port 443. I am using port 80/443 inside swag. Am i doing something wrong here? Quote Link to comment
Squid
If SWAG is listening on 80 then that's all goodl I was worried you had forwarded the ports directly to the management ports instead of swag Quote Link to comment
