tcj Posted April 12, 2022 Share Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) Hi, ich versuche gerade meine RX580 in einer Win11 Vm zu nutzen - aber Windows hält nix davon ;-( Die Karte läuft sauber in einer Mac Big Sur VM und die Windows VM läuft auch mit einer GTX1070 Aber letzteres eben nicht mit der RX580, die ich ja extra für Big Sur angeschafft habe. Und eine GPU reicht mir eigentlich. DIe NVIDIA Treiber sind schon entfernt und die Firmware der RX580 wurde auch aus der GPU gezogen und der VM zur Verfügung gestellt. Unraid 6.10.0-rc4 Win 11 wurde noch unter rc2 installiert mit den damaligen Defaults. Kann mich mal bitte jemand in die richtige Richtung schubsen, was ich noch machen kann/muss? Ich habe testweise nochmals eine W11-VM mit den gleichen Settings erstellt und die bestehende VDisk eingebunden, wie gefragt. Das zu starten brachte dann den Server verlässlich zum Absturz ;-( Quote Link to comment

Aber dummerweise nicht nachdem zuvor Mac OS (Bigsur) lief. Dann schmiert die Kiste wieder ab. Ich weiß, dass das ein bekanntes Problem ist/war, aber finde keine Lösung dazu. Gibt es eine? Ich habe noch irgendwo im Hinterkopf das es nicht wirklich einen Workaround für OSX gibt, korrigier mich bitte @giganode wenn ich hier falsch liege. Wenn du eine Windows VM mit der Karte durchgereicht startest, beendest und wieder startest funktioniert aber oder? Quote Link to comment
