Any input?

We are at a standstill with this issue.

I am rolling back to 6.9.x - not seeing any traction on this issue.

@JonathanM

i´m in the same boat, my Oppo cant see files in the nfs Share.

tried today with 6.11 RC5

6.11.0 do not improves the issue

i tested this with my truenas Server now and had the same issue.

Permissions on the share set so everyone has read access. i also was able to connect to the share but couldnt see any files/folders.

After editing the ACL for the files/folders (not the share itself, because i can connect to the share) so Everyone has read access (inherit) i was able to see all files.

So the issue must be the rights on the files/folders.. but i only have basic ACL settings in unraid, and that is working for smb but seems to have no effect on nfs:

edit:

will open bug report for 6.11/6.10, because it works on older Version 6.9.2

NFS Version V4 isnt the Issue, the Oppo also works with my TrueNAS Server that is using V4

Any updates on this guys, having the same exact issue. Just started using Unraid, and this is disappointing.

Issue hasn't been resolved in 6.11.2

How can we go about opening a bug for this?

In reviewing your diagnostics again I see:

May 30 00:23:22 NASDiego kernel: nfs: server 192.168.29.5 not responding, still trying
### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 9 TIMES] ###
May 30 00:24:24 NASDiego kernel: nfs: server 192.168.29.5 OK
### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 9 TIMES] ###

What is at IP address 192.168.29.5?

Post new diagnostics.

Thank you, I just realized @Meannekes might already have opened a bug, i'll try to search and see if there was any progress there.

Edit: Found the bug report @JorgeB:

The reason is that the newer versions of unRaid have NFS UDP disabled by default,  only NFS TCP works.

Here is the solution to bring it back:

Post new diagnostics.

The 192.168.29.5 IP is the IP of my QNAP NAS. I used it to mount the same folders than Oppo uses, in order to check that the setup was ok. The folders were mounted and all files available from QNAP NAS, so the prolem is between OPPO and UnRaid.

Find attached current diagnostics

Thank you ery much for your input.

After adding UDP, rebooting the system and checking it:

# rpcinfo -p | grep nfs
    100003 3 tcp 2049 nfs
    100003 4 tcp 2049 nfs
    100003 3 udp 2049 nfs

The Oppo continues detecting the shared folders but they continues empty. No changes.

I take it you checked the permissions on the shares? What worked on previous versions, sometimes doesn't on a newer ones.

Multiple threads on this.

These are the permissions on Films and TV Shows, in all files (drwxrwxrwx)

I myself ended up running "New Permissions", as the current ones didn't work after upgrade on many shares.
