I find Unraid so stable I've have very little need to post any issues here. trurl Posted July 5, 2022 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Didn't notice anything in those. CRC errors are just the drive logging inconsistent data received based on checksums. It could conceivably happen in the drive circuitry but usually other things are the cause and easier to fix as @Frank1940 mentioned. I guess you could replace the disk and see if the problems go away. Quote Link to comment
Vetteman Posted July 7, 2022 Author Share Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) I do have a replacement drive. It's a brand new WP Red Plus 6 TB. I put the WD Blue 5 TB into my Windows Storage Pool server or into my Ubuntu Samba server and see how it fairs. Many thanks too all for the tips, suggestions and help.
