  1. Screen shot of plugins after updating. This is happening on my two Unraid servers. Both are 6.12.15. Cheers Ken in Nova Scotia
  2. Fix Common Problems is reporting an issue with the Dynamix plugins I have installed. So I checked for updates and they were installed. Ran Fix Common Problems again and still reporting issues. Screen capture is after updating the Dynamix plugins...
  3. is he not also the developer of the "recycle bin" plugin?
  4. That is odd as he just updated this plugin April 26/2025. When did he remove it from the App Community Store?
  5. But I already have the plugin installed. I am asking how to update it. Or are you suggesting I remove the plugin and then install from github?
  6. How do you update the plugin from github via Unraid? Only experience I have with github is installing an add-on for Blender3D on a Windows 10/11 computer.
  7. Thanks kindly. Yes I did see your post above before posting and read the links. But unsure what to do... Do I remove the plug since it is no longer being supported by the developer or ignore it's warnings? Cheers from Nova Scotia...
  8. Fix Common Problems is also reporting the librtvirt.hotplug.usb.plg is unknown on both my Unraid 6.12.15 and 6.12.10 servers. Never had this issue prior.
  9. Installed the recent update and it is working as designed. Many thanks for your time and efforts, they are much appreciated. A big cheer from Nova Scotia, Canada.
  10. Thanks for the outstanding plugin. Looking forward to the bug fix and appreciate all the time you have invested in developing this must have plugin and time you spend on maintaining it. I realize in your life you have many other commitments outside of Unraid but I truly do appreciate your plugin and efforts. Please take care and many thanks.... Cheers from Nova Scotia...
  11. Stopped working on both my Unraid serves. One is ver 6.12.10 and the other 6.12.9. I have started and stopped the recycle bin several times on both computers. Never had this issue before. Cheers
  12. Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. However restoring from backups may not be a salvation IF the file was already corrupted at time of backup, unless you have something like file history enabled. Is there a QPAR/MULTIPAR type of plugin for Unraid? Again thanks for the reply...
  13. Is there a good video on this utility? I could not find any on youtube. Again thanks...
  14. But what happens if your corrupted file was copied to your last back up? I was hoping I would be able to repair the file ala QPAR or MULTIPAR which have this ability.
  15. Thanks kindly, I did resolve the issue and everything is fine. And I am one happy camper. Many thanks...
  16. I took the array out of maintenance mode by stopping it and restarting it. It now appears everything is fine with DISK 1 and my array? Was this the correct thing to do? I believe it was?
  17. OK, I think I did what was suggested in the manual. The manual was not as clear as the old Netware manuals we used in the past. I removed -n option as suggested and left it blank. However it would not run and the manual suggested I use -L option to remove any previous logs, Which I did. I now a page of this information. What do I do now?
  18. When I went to bed last night the reconstruction had just over an hour to complete. This morning the reconstruction completed however Unraid is showing that disk1 is unmountable: Unsupported or no file system. When I select Format I am told to do this for adding a new drive to the array and not to be used for data reconstruction. So I am a bit confused, I thought the data reconstruction was going to create the new filesystem and place data onto the drive? Do I format the drive? Again many thanks for your support.
  19. Thanks very much JorgeB for your advice. I've replaced the power cables to the drives and now running a data re-build. It appears to be running OK. Estimated time is only 9 hours. Again, many thanks. It is greatly appreciated.
  20. PS: I am running in safe mode while doing data reconstruction.
  21. In my Unraid 6.12.10 backup server I had a WD Red Plus 4TB data drive fail. I booted my Unraid server with Hiren Tool boot up DVD (most current version) and ran WD Diags tool against the drive. I did both a quick and long test and the drive proved to be OK. When I rebooted Unraid, the failed disk was no longer a part of the array and disk1 was undefined. The WD disk was now an unassigned device. I ran a preclear and the drive was then added back to the array. However the rebuild was reporting to take over 200 days. So I gave it a few hours and the rebuild was reporting to be paused and I could not restart the rebuild. I shut the computer down and removed the WD Red Plus. My second Unraid (primary server) had a fairly new Seagate Iron Wolf 4TB as unassigned device which I rarely used. So I removed it from my primary Unraid server and place it into Unraid backup server to replace the failed WD. I also ran a preclear on the Iron Wolf and it cleared OK. I added the Seagate Iron Wolf to my array. And now I am being informed the data reconstruction will take 54 days, sometimes it decreases to 20 days or even 1 day but returns to a higher value. Both times when doing the data reconstruction I hear a beep which only happens during the data reconstruction and not the preclear or when using Hirens Tools. Please refer to attached screen capture and diagnostic zip file. Any tips or comments would be much appreciated. Cheers Ken junkyard-diagnostics-20241031-1745.zip
  22. This line makes no sense. Samba shares on unassigned devices are meant to be shared. Or am I missing something? I find this comment ambiguous and confusing.
  23. PS: Using a custom url (as per Doc_P) helped resolve my issue. I have it running on Fedora 40 VirualBox vm on Windows 11 and on a metal install of Zorin 17.1. Zorin is based on Ubunto and installing Virt-manager on Zorin was one single command "sudo apt-get install virt-manager" and as simple as installing it on Fedora. I think we need a snapshot option for Unraid.
  24. I truly appreciate all the efforts that the community has gone through to make this work. BUT IMHO, LimeTech should be providing us with tools that work out of the can and not make customers job through all these hoops and sweat to make something work.
  25. My WD TV Live device does write to a root folder .wd_tv each time I update video content on the thumb drive.
