Duniac Posted September 1, 2022 Share Posted September 1, 2022 I am in the process of transferring data to a new server build and I replaced the trial license key with the purchased key as I no longer require the old server. Prior to the apply the license key, the five disks shown below all contained a similar amount of data, in particular, disk 3 showed approx 872 GB free. After applying the license key, it is now showing 13.9 TB free. The following shows the correct value and I can access files from the disk. I'm worried that if I transfer files to the array, that Unraid is going to over-write files on this disk. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Quote Link to comment

trurl Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Diagnostics agrees disk3 is mostly empty. And your Media share is spread across disks 1-9. Where did you get that "correct value" that showed it all on disk3? Quote Link to comment

This was from memory, the available storage on that disk was 872 GB. I am now moving the data off the disk however it does look like I have lost approximately 12.5 TB, I don't know if the data is still on the disk. Are there any utilities to look for missing data? Duniac Posted September 4, 2022 Author Share Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) UPDATE: I have started moving the data off disk 3 and onto another disk. However, I am now showing 18.4 EB used space on disk 3, with 15 TB Free on a disk which only has a 14 TB capacity.
