Is it that you (OP) don't want to update or it it just that you don't like the banner and want it to just do it and quit bugging?

ah I see why it's so persistent. I'm on 6.11.5

It seems like there is a new update every few days at this rate. Looks like i'll just tell it to check every day for updates and automatically update. Rather than once a month... even with that setting it was popping up all the time.

Try Netdata... I've seen more than one update in a single day.

I dont understand why this addons needs to be updated every few days and at this point I'm to fed up with it to even bother.

 

Deleting it works, no more contant bs updates.
