Docker Service cannot start

Featured Replies

Hi.

Whenever I disable my docker service and I want to enable it, I get the below error message. The only way to solve it is to reboot the server, and I dont want to reboot my server every time I make some changes.

/mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img' is in-use, cannot mount

Can someone please assist me?

Please also see attached the diagnostic file

Sep 13 12:34:14 GenX-Nas emhttpd: shcmd (214): umount /var/lib/docker
Sep 13 12:34:14 GenX-Nas root: umount: /var/lib/docker: target is busy

Docker is failing to unmount, try updating to v6.12.4 since it fixes a known issue with that.

Same problem.

Version: 6.12.4

This problem has been happening frequently and recently for me.

Docker works for a while, and then something crashes all my conatainers.

Then the cannot start Docker service because the mount is busy.

Try:

umount /dev/loop2

That's what you need to fix first.

After this happens again, post your diagnostics

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I update to v6.12.4 and it seems to be working now.

Just one thing to note, after I update I had to reinstall the Nvidia GPU drivers plugin. Dockers using the GPU didn't start.

Its all good now, thank you for the assistance.
