TheLinuxGuy
Not sure where else to post this question. "Unraid digest" email today included a blurb Quote The Unraid 6.13-beta1 has been released privately for testing and will be available publicly sometime this month! This new beta features Hybrid ZFS pools, an improved dashboard and improved navigation, VM Clone and Snapshot support, Intel Arc GPU support, an integrated file manager, and much, much more! I wanted to know more about what "Hybrid ZFS pools" means in this context? Any information about the technical details of it yet? Quote Link to comment
raidofmutilation
If I understand correctly, this means L2ARC support. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted April 1 Solution Share Posted April 1 It means supporting zfs pools with cache, logs, dedup, special and/or spare vdevs. 1 Quote Link to comment
jortan
Great news. I'm just about to migrate my ZFS pool and was planning to use 2 x NVME partitioned as both special VDEV and L2ARC. My NVMEs don't support multiple namespaces so will need to be partitioned. Just wanted to check if this is a supported configuration in 6.13? Quote Link to comment
