I plugged in the USB devices that I would like to use, but I need access to them with my laptop. My question is how do I use the USB ports of my laptop so that I can plug in my piano and audio interface to use the music production software on the VM? Thank you for any help! Quote Link to comment

So you are looking for devices on the laptop to be available on the vm? Only options would be usbip or usng usb redirection. The later is not supported in the gui so you would need customer xml edits and a spice client to access the vm. Quote Link to comment

Eddie Seelke Posted August 15 Share Posted August 15 Technically, this can be done using SPICE and virt-viewer. But, it requires adding a SPICE USB device to the VM and I am not sure how to do that in unRAID. It does work in Proxmox though. Quote Link to comment
