October 28, 20241 yr effortless??? I'm sitting 4 hours already trying to start the initial setup... "wrong PHP version", "name does not resolve" (within the containers), very effortless....
October 29, 20241 yr This. I was excited to try this but after a few hours this afternoon, no joy. I'm getting a "failed initial setup" error in the nextcloud container, and "name does not resolve" error in 2 other containers. Tried deleting all containers, the community app, and even used the app data cleanup plugin to start fresh. And when I do a 'fresh install" it brings me right back to the page where it is trying to start the sub-containers rather than the original install page that provides a passphrase and option to select what to install. I have no clue how to go about starting from the beginning or fixing the current install...

Yeah also took me a day to find. scroll completly down to the bottom of the page, there is a link "how to uninstall everything completely" Takes you a lot of time, especially if you have other dockers up and running, so double check not to delete anything valuable! Anyway, in the mean time (and after the reset) I found out, what went completely wrong: DO NO SELECT HUB 9 for the new installation! It does not work (yet?) ! Install Hub 8, thats ok and the video will work. But be prepared that there is a lot of manual work left afterwards... at least it is up and running now... NB young Padawan: after initial setup, log in as admin and DO NOTHING. Took over 30mins here until all the internal things started to work correctly. If you are too impatient, you will run into a lot of problems (like calendars not beeing ready yet and so on). These cure themselfs over the time. I am not sure yet if the manual changes I needed to do in the config.php file stay over reboots and updates. would be bad if not because it is very hard to get to that file. We will see. November 11, 20241 yr Great tutorial, I had this running, and everything seemed great, however a couple of days ago I noticed some of the containers were showing updates available in the Docker tab. I tried to access the AIO interface through nextcloud (I had accessed it that way before) but I am getting an "Unable to connect" error. I tried stopping most of the AIO related containers, but was still unable to open the AIO interface, I don't see anything unusual in Nextcloud or UNRAID logs (I am no expert though) Not sure how to proceed Edit: I think I figured it out. I stopped the Apache docker, then force updated it. Restarted the Apache docker, and I can now access the AIO interface Edited November 15, 20241 yr by graphius Solved
November 11, 20241 yr Too invested in the current one to try this but I'm glad I did not seems like a lot of headache.
November 14, 20241 yr my problem was that after installing hub 9, i was never able to login to the admin panel. i thought maybe it was a reverse proxy issue as spaceinvader used something else. i am using swag and was able to set up the reverse proxy for the initial setup. but after all the apps started and the admin link popped up, was never able to access it. lost all hope. uninstalled or at least tried to. took me a while to remove all instances since trying to reinstall it left everything behind. i accidently removed all stopped dockers in the process but got them back.
December 9, 20241 yr How exactly do you update the different components on unraid nextcloud AIO now ? each time i try to update a get a message saying "configuration not found. was this container created using this plugin? All my dockers display update ready apply update but nothing to update.
December 9, 20241 yr You open the webpage of the mastercontainer and do the updates there. Since they're not set up by unraid the update status on unraid's docker page will always be wrong and it can't do the updates itself. Edited December 9, 20241 yr by Kilrah
December 12, 20241 yr Hello many thanks for your help. this is very strange because i cannot access the mastercontainer webui. i also noticed that for some unknown reason the ip address from docker on this container is missing, still my unraid instance is working fine. has anyone encountered this problem? EDIT => ok never mind. found it upon posting my screenshot. For some reason the network reverted to bridge instead of nextcloud-aoi. this probably went away when i updated unraid to 6,12,14 Edited December 12, 20241 yr by tomtom77550
December 12, 20241 yr to get to the mastercontainer you need to log on to nexcloud (UI) with an admin account, then go to "settings". You will find a button to launch the mastercontainer UI. (Yeah, this whole beast is really mystical...)
December 14, 20241 yr I'm also having many issues after following the tutorial. I've retried the whole experience many times, following the reset instructions from the GitHub. I was initially getting 404 errors installing Collabora that the install could not be found. When unticking that it now says the nextcloud-aio-nextcloud container is not found with the same 404 error message. What can I do? I've followed the install and reset steps so many times.
January 3, 20251 yr Hello Anyone who knows how to set up this container without a domain??,, I cant really find that out?? Thank you!
January 5, 20251 yr Hello again.. I've tried to setup this for hours.. I dont know what the problem is but i cant use nginx proxy manager, at all?? I've tried to enable host access custom networks... And i have tried to remove and reinstall the dockers, many times.. No luck? I dont know what the problem is but it seems to be a problem with entire container.. Cant do anything local either.?? Anyone who could have an idea?? Thank you!
June 1, 20251 yr Does anyone have a guide to setting up Traefik with this? I've been trying to follow the official reverse proxy docs but failing.
