Is there a reason why we can't migrate USBs manually more than once or twice a year? I mean, surely you have methods to detect if the same key is being used at the same time on multiple devices for longer than 2 minutes or something and just let us change sticks and manage that yourselves? no?

It is possible and allowed to run Unraid isolated from the internet.

Someone could just as well migrate the license ~after~ taking a server offline. I really don't see how this resolves any unwanted "duplication" of licenses.

Just replying here, while I'm waiting for support to help me, as I'm getting the same undescriptiv error message. Had to replace my usb drive, after the old one days after pretty much exactly a year. Still not a big fan of having to use a usb drive for a server os.

The flash drive just contains the "firmware" of the OS, plus your settings and license. The OS runs in RAM.

How long does it generally take for support to get back to people on this issue? Currently at a stand-still with my server until I can get the flash drive GUID issue resolved. Thanks all!

Normally only a few hours - but remember that support is on US time.

Did you get an automated email response when you tried to contact support? I not then the support request may not have gone through and you should try again.
