Looks like emulated disk1 is unmountable. Not unexpected, but maybe not too bad to repair.

Check filesystem on emulated disk1 from the webUI and post the output.

Did you click the check filesystem link?

What I am asking for is below that part of the screen in your screenshot. The part labeled Check Filesystem Status.

So sorry, yea, but I was a bit to fast I guess. I can see that I need to put in into Maintenance mode, and run the 'Check'.

The other disks may be too out-of-sync to emulate disk1.

But, Unraid 7.1 has a new version of xfsprogs according to the release notes.

Upgrade and try repair again.

Also, it might be possible to recover some files from original disk1 even though it has failed, so don't do anything to it.

Updated, but same result. Keeps telle me to fix it, and after 2 times, the same fetal error one.

That is correct.

Good news is disk6 is mountable and seems to be OK without rebuilding. Maybe it missed some writes while it was disabled.

Probably the next step is going to be trying to clone the bad, original disk1 to the new disk.

I will see if @JorgeB can help with cloning or has any other ideas. He may be closer to your time zone than I am anyway.

That may be a good option, is there a SMART report for that disk?

Another option may be to rebuild the unmountable filesystem, then run UFS explorer on it.

Hey

As you can see from trurl, I am a guy who needs instructions on how things work, as I am a long time user, but not that technical in Unraid setup.

1. What smart report do you need, on the old or the new disk1?

2. How do I clone the disk? :)

3. Would the rebuilld be better?

Thanks agian for all your help guys :)

Let's first see the SMART report for the old disk1

The first thing I would try would be to clone that disk to a new one with ddrescue, if often can recover 99.99% of the data, of course, it will depend on how bad that disk is, you can see the instructions here:

Thank you - I can already tell that I am gonna learn alot, but also ask alot - sorry in advance :)

1. This is the one I need to open right?

image.thumb.png.7e703329e069c130037062c8d4598be4.png

2.Then ill create the 'extra' folder, and upload the file here?

image.thumb.png.68baf10f38871469c770771a3efbe5ca.png

I have not done anything like this before, so thats why I am abit more 'noob', than you might be used to.

Correct. Any slackware package in extra is automatically installed when you reboot.
