Unraid OS Version 7.2.2 available

Featured Replies

Could be wrong but I suspect the display problem(s) may be related to a regression with the connect plugin?

I'm still on 6.12.15 but did update connect and started seeing these kinds of problems again.

Yes, please continue there, but I believe LT found what is causing that issue, and it should be resolved soon.

Are you sure your server has the correct date and time?

Yes. And now still with no unrais as new USB drive has taken ages to be delivered...

... I dig through years old emails when I purchased licence to discover my guid IS correct as registered and UNRAID is just wrong.

I suspect unraid service (although pleasantly helpful) must know this also as they surely have the records also. I think im being gaslit and there is more to it.

My guid hasn't changed and the moment I updated to 7.2.2 unraid said my registration was for another guid, which documents say is untrue, then the software surely is at fault.

I havent posted in over a decade to this forum but man, this upgrade F'ed everything up with SMB/Tailscale/etc. Took forever with the help of grok to sort things out.

What version did you update from?

Was going to upgrade from 6.12.15 to 7.2.0, but hastily clicked nextnextnext. And now running 7.2.2 D

All went smoothly, uptime ~40minutes.

HW: ASRock Z690 PG Riptide, 12th Gen Intel® Core i5-12400, 64GB DDR4

Anyone else have issues with SMB on this version?

Upgraded from 7.0.1 to this and I found trying to delete older files (even after running docker safe newer permissions) just resulted in SMBd PANIC error messages and on my mac just mounting caused the log to fill up.

Downgrading back to 7.0.1 fixed the issue.

If it isn't a known issue I'll make a post with the diag dump when I'm back home.

It's not; please create a new thread/bug report and post the diags.

Update:

Did some more experimenting, seems to be Recycle Bin plugin is causing the problem or at least when I remove it the issue stops.

For now I've re-downgraded since I do use that.

Do you still wish for me to still submit a general bug report or just put a post in the Recycle Bin plugin topic?

On a side note, on a different system to the above, this issue also still occurs after trying the same server on 7.2.2:

I have an updated diag but tomorrow as of posting is the earliest I can get it.

If it's a plugin issue, please use the respective plugin support thread.

Just upgraded from 7.1.4 to 7.2.2. The process took a bit of time but everything seems to work just fine. Thank you.
