June 21, 201511 yr Good news and bad news... Same for me as JM before. It did not autodetect the HDHomeruns but I was able to add manually. I was able to add video sources (Schedules Direct) and retrieve my lineups. Bonus! When I scanned for channels, it acted as if was actually displaying the signal strength but it did not find any channels. It's funny because I am getting a "locked" result but still comes back with no channels found. John

That being said...this one probably doesn't need to be a priority as mos of of us already have a stable VM running. I know you have other fish to fry. John

June 22, 201511 yr I was able to do the following... - HDHomeruns automatically detected and assigned - Retrieve SD lineups - Associate SD lineups with capture cards - Scan for channels - Add storage directories - Run mythfilldatabase which appears to have pulled guide data from SD - Settings survived a container stop/start The only things I have not yest tested... - See if settings survive an unraid restart - Access MythWeb (I don't think this is included with MythTV like it is with Mythbuntu) - Try and stream live tv to a Kodi client (going to try now) Awesome work!!! I think you are right. When you exit out of the backend setup, it asks if you would like to start it. Click Yes but there is not indication that it has. Also, usually when you want to start the myth backend setup, it will ask if you would like to stop the backend. That is not happening here. June 22, 201511 yr ok try this.... set everything up then in the top menu, applications/system tools, start up mate terminal and issue /usr/bin/mythbackend it should spit out a load of crap and appear to hang , that's ok, not running it as a daemon so it will do that. then see if there's any output at kodi.

I'm watching Live TV in Kodi!!! I want to get the output from that command copied into a txt file so I can share but I don't think a txt editor is installed. And, I can't copy/paste out of the terminal window in the RDP session to my desktop. Any ideas? June 22, 201511 yr ok try this.... set everything up then in the top menu, applications/system tools, start up mate terminal and issue /usr/bin/mythbackend it should spit out a load of crap and appear to hang , that's ok, not running it as a daemon so it will do that. then see if there's any output at kodi. I'm watching Live TV in Kodi!!! I want to get the output from that command copied into a txt file so I can share but I don't think a txt editor is installed. And, I can't copy/paste out of the terminal window in the RDP session to my desktop. Any ideas?
