Put the base (not the point!) of the screwdriver in your ear and put the point against different components to find where the noise is coming from. Link to comment

Ashe Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Clicking drive normally equals heads not parking and imminent failure (in my experience). So make sure it's a hdd clicking first Link to comment
