February 22, 201610 yr I currently have Plex installed as a plugin, is there a way to convert that install to a docker? Or do I have to remove the plugin, and install a docker version of Plex and reconfigure it? I am currently using Phaze's Plex plugin.
February 22, 201610 yr https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41562.0 It's easy to do. I suggest you install the docker and look at how it names the config folder and whatnot, and then move your current config on top of it, remove the docker, and reinstall the docker.
February 29, 201610 yr Author So I tried this, and I tried like every Plex docker there is, and I couldn't figure out how to point Plex at me my media.....The plugin that I currently use, gives me the option of adding each drive in my array individually and so scans them for media.
March 1, 201610 yr Community Expert Please try again. Once you understand Volume Mappings dockers aren't very difficult. Read some of the stickies at the top of this forum and ask if you need more help. Dockers are really the way forward for these kinds of applications.

Heres an example of a plex media server docker config page I use shared folders to keep movies/TV Shows /config is the location of your plex configuration. /Movies is the location of your shared folder containing movies /TV Shows (same as above) in your case, since you have it mapped per drive you should add Container volume: Host Path: /disk1 /mnt/disk1 /disk2 /mnt/disk2 I believe that would work for you. I find it easier to use Shares
