jedimstr
Has anyone gotten the nicolargo/glances container working in unRAID with webserver active? The https://hub.docker.com/r/nicolargo/glances/ listing looked fairly straightforward and I've been passing combinations of ENTRYPOINT and CMD variables along with priviledged access so it can get to the docker.sock, but so far no joy for me. If anyone is wondering what glances is about: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nicolargo/glances/master/docs/_static/screenshot-wide.png I wanted something alongside my Grafana Dashboard and unRAID's builtin interface (mixed with all my other stuff under muximux) that shows individual Docker Container stats and this looked like it fit the bill but it just won't startup. jedimstr
Found another repo at https://hub.docker.com/r/adrien/glances-unraid/ that was specifically made for unRAID and works out of the box with the following settings: Icon URL:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PMtu-3KDtjg/UFR-aRONlfI/AAAAAAAAADE/QJeUP3LuV3U/s1600/glances-white-256.png WebUI:http://localhost:61208/ Network Type:Host Privileged:ON Port 1:61208 Path 1:/var/run/docker.sock This should be added to Community Applications. wingchun222
Thank you so much for your help so far!! I am making progress lol. So I found the spots to put the following: Icon Webui Network Type Privileged Where do I put the other 2: port 1 Path 1 Do I set the container volume to /config and host path to whatever I choose? Squid
Note that the webUI line listed a couple posts up is the incorrect way of entering it. Host port irrelevant since its host mode. No config mapping required only /var/run/docker.sock 6.2: 6.1.x: Quote Link to comment

No config mapping required only /var/run/docker.sock ... Squid, can I modify this docker to export to influxdb rather than using the glances -w option? Basically, I want to run: glances --quiet --export-influxdb and I need to give it the influxdb info via conf file... Any ideas/guidance? Quote Link to comment
Drewster727
ended up rolling my own glances docker container that allows you to pass in the args rather than forcing the web based version: https://hub.docker.com/r/drewster727/glances-unraid/ in case anyone wants to use it! Quote Link to comment

Hey man, I know this is old, but I was just wondering how you specify which influxdb database you want to use? Quote Link to comment
Drewster727
@zandrsn hey dude -- I believe that's in the glances.config file that you reference. Quote Link to comment
