Preclear not working in V6.2-rc2 in gui or CLI

Hello.  I just got this 4TB HGST_HDN724040ALE640 to be my cache drive, because the 4TB Seagate I bought a month ago is starting to error.  I have tried to preclear the HGST several times, but something is wrong.  From the GUI/preclear plugin, it just says preclear starting.  I left it alone for an hour or so & it never changed.  Rebooted & tried from the command line & the preclear script came back with the following:

 

 

Sorry: Device /dev/sdi is busy.: 1

root@valhalla:/boot#

 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a known issue.

There are several different ways to fix it.
