Ntpd Server & windows client

From what I understand unraid has an ntpd server running, correct? I'm getting an error while trying to synchronize from a windows client via the unraid ip. Am I missing something here?

You will need to start the ntp daemon manually it isn't running by default

/etc/rc.d/ntpd start

Why is this Daemon not running? I get the message that the sys-time has 539min offset... is this critical?

The daemon is the server not the client, the later one is required to sync unRAID itself. You need to configure that in the GUI

I see - thanks - but the client is already configured. This message comes always after starting the server from sleep - maybe its only an info...

Also I'm assuming the easiest way to have this persist is putting it in the go file correct?
