Possibly a problem with the motherboard controller:

Only port3 is considered a working SATA port and there are a lot of errors ending up disabling the disk:

This look more like a cable problem, but it's strange the other ports being considered dummy ports, try reconnecting all cables and see if makes any difference.

Question. When I remove the drives...how do I know when I put them back in which drive is which in what order if my motherboard is bad, and I have to replace it? Will UnRaid automatically know which drives are which including parity?

Unraid recognises drives by their serial number - not by where they are connected.

True. In general, I also think its a good idea to have each controller, cable and drive identified and logged somewhere. I keep a spreadsheet for mine. Here's an example:

Judging from the failures, and the 2 broken fan parts in the case... I am thinking the Motherboard is bad too (hopefully the hdds are still good). If I am going to buy a new Motherboard, I might as well buy a larger case since I am just about maxed out. I started a new thread on what motherboard I should get for my i7 that can handle 13 sata III hdds.

Send me the link...I'll have to check it out. I wound up getting a couple of used Dell H310 controllers on eBay for my HDDs. It required some firmware flashing, but it seems to be solid.  Each controller supports up to 8 sata III or SAS HDDs depending on how you flash the cards.
