Stan464 Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Hi All. Just a request of advice really. Got an issue as of lately, Disk 1 Fails with a redX and requires me to remove/add to rebuild. The rebuild usually completes fine and at a decent speed may i add. Smart Test's show the Drive to be healthy (Quick and Extended Test). But randomly and some stage, it will show errors (small number) and fall out the array. A few UDMA Errors but id of thought this wouldnt be enough to Kick the drive offline?. Would there be anything to Auto Diagnose this? Cable? Drive Failure?. **Please See Attached** Thanks Kindly! Link to comment
trurl Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Those SMART errors typically are caused by a bad connection or bad cable. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip to your next post. Link to comment
