potts.mike
I noticed some VMs and Dockers weren't working so I logged into the server and the cache drive doesn't have a file system and cant be mounted. Attached is the diagnostic file, I'll look into getting a SMART report for that drive also. Mods: I posted a very similar thread the other day without diagnostics, please delete that. homeserver-diagnostics-20190321-1917.zip Quote Link to comment

potts.mike
I tried new cables and got the errors that I screenshot, the attached log and the same "unmountable" error that I had before. I am going to lose everything on the cache drive? I've got time tomorrow to replace it but I would rather not lose everything that was on it. homeserver-diagnostics-20190326-1319.zip Quote Link to comment

potts.mike
I needed to get the server back up so I replaced the cache drive. I'll look into getting the data off the old drive from the above link. Any additional help appreciated. Quote Link to comment
potts.mike
My server is back up with a new cache drive but I’m wondering what the best way to make sure I don’t lose my dockers and vms again. Should I move appdata to the pool? Do some sort of backup of appdata? If I add a second cache drive do they mirror each other? Quote Link to comment

Yes, mirror (raid1) is the default for cache pool. Quote Link to comment
potts.mike
Exactly what I needed, thanks. Quote Link to comment
