Jaster
I was using some VMs, suddnely all went to pause. I realized a log full of btrfs errros, but could not download any diagnostics, I had to hard reset the server. Attached you can find the recent diagnostics and it telling about some Breed Errors, which seem to be related to the Flash?... Nor Docker Service neither the libvirt service do start up. BTRFS Check does not return any errors: [/dev/sdm1].write_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdm1].read_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdm1].flush_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdm1].corruption_errs 0 [/dev/sdm1].generation_errs 0 [/dev/sdh1].write_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdh1].read_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdh1].flush_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdh1].corruption_errs 0 [/dev/sdh1].generation_errs 0 [/dev/sdk1].write_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdk1].read_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdk1].flush_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdk1].corruption_errs 0 [/dev/sdk1].generation_errs 0 [/dev/sdj1].write_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdj1].read_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdj1].flush_io_errs 0 [/dev/sdj1].corruption_errs 0 [/dev/sdj1].generation_errs 0 But I get this: Unable to write to cache Drive mounted read-only or completely full. Squid
All of the bread errors are related to the flash drive. It appears that it has some bad sectors in it, and probably should get replaced. Quote Link to comment
Jaster
ok, I'll do that once I get my cache back... Is there anything visable in the diags? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
btrfs errors are from the docker and libvirt images, because your cache is completely full, you might also consider going with raid5, raid6 with 4 SSDs is IMHO overkill. Quote Link to comment
Jaster
Shall I go down to Raid10? Can I do something to get it back up running and convert? I have a set of SSDs which I can/would like to use. 2x500, 2x250, 1x1TB. I'd like to have some kind of protection -> how would/should I set this up? space usage says 500gb of 1.5tb used...? JorgeB
Different capacity devices not very good for raid configs, you won't be able to use full capacity unless you choose raid1, you can check here in more detail: http://carfax.org.uk/btrfs-usage/ 48 minutes ago, Jaster said: space usage says 500gb of 1.5tb used...? Another consequence of using different size devices. You need to free up some space on cache and then convert. Edited September 10, 2019 by johnnie.black 1 Quote Link to comment
Jaster
I see, I removed a VM disk which is backed up and rebooted, but now a dive dropped out of the cache: New Issue Quote Link to comment
