jbroom Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 I'm still a bit new to unraid, but I was browsing through the settings (not meaning to change anything) and looking thought the CA apps and then i noticed all the hints/description (the places with a ? that pops up on the cursor) when you click on it a quick description is expanded that explains the area) were expanded. I clicked into the settings and all of them were expanded in there as well. Is there some setting I inadvertently set that does this by default or did i happen upon a bug? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this really annoying to look at. Quote
jbroom Posted May 9, 2020 Author Posted May 9, 2020 This seemed to be in issue with Chrome. After a full browser restart they all collapsed correctly. 1 Quote
Squid Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 It would be something local to you (cookie settings, extensions interfering, etc) I can guarantee that Chrome is probably the browser of choice for the developers, and even if it's not is completely tested Quote

You didn't actually mention if you had tried the ? Help button suggested. That Help button is a toggle, that turns Help on/off for the whole webUI. You can also toggle help for a specific setting on/off by clicking on the label for the setting. Quote
jbroom Posted May 15, 2020 Author Posted May 15, 2020 The help button wasn't actually there. This might have been the theme I was using (Gray) and I didn't notice it, since the Gray theme would have it in the lower right of the window, or just a glitch; but the labels were not clickable at the time either. I have now changed to black theme and not had this issue since. Quote
whamp Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Wow i feel dumb. I manually looked through every single setting and every single tool looking for something that would explain this. I wasn't sure what to search for as i couldn't think of what to call those pop out descriptions. Anyway, thanks Squid. Quote
