xalten Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 I've searched through the forums and most every VM pause issue is caused by space issues. I was having the same issue so I upgraded my cache to 2 x 1TB drives and placed it in RAID 1 (Not worried about losing these as I can rebuild). Anyhow, I have 2 x Windows 10 VMs, both are on the cache, each given a 100Gb vdisk, 4 CPU cores, 2 Gb inital memory and 4Gb of max memory. Aside from using different CPU cores they are identical machines. One of them however keeps pausing. There is nothing in the log for that machine that indicate anything. I'm at a loss as to what to check next. Attached is my diagnostics if it helps. unraid-diagnostics-20200525-1131.zip Quote
xalten Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 Anyone have any tips or suggestions on this please? Quote
JorgeB Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Since it's not a space issue the only other thing I can remember causing that is Windows going to sleep, check power options and make sure all power saving options are disable. Quote
BRiT Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Raid 1 does NOT give you any more space, it gives you copies of the same data. Quote
