Brodie(CyberPunk)
Hello Ive been using unraid for almost a year now but i want to upgrade the storage for my virtual machines as of right now they are running of a hard drive on the array. Due to budget constraints i can only afford 1 ssd for now but i wan to run dual nvme ssds for redundancy so my question is simple can i install 1 ssd now and then add another one later when i can afford a second. thanks Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Yes, as long as current one is formatted with btrfs (default). Quote Link to comment
Brodie(CyberPunk)
So does this mean that if its formatted as btrfs I dont have to move the data off the ssd once i add the second cache drive Quote Link to comment
