k04l Posted October 9, 2020 Share Posted October 9, 2020 Hi guys, i moved my plex database from Debian to Unraid Docker Container (plexinc) after a very long first start of the PlexMediaServer (22 hours) it is finaly running, but the Database folder is around 50GB now Plex is running at a normal speed as long as i dont do anything but streaming. 6.3G Cache 5.4M Codecs 0 Crash Reports 116M Logs 3.9G Media 13G Metadata 50G Plug-in Support 1.5M Plug-ins ->> 22M com.plexapp.dlna.db 192K com.plexapp.dlna.db-shm 22M com.plexapp.dlna.db-wal 21M com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db 128K com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db-shm 14M com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db-wal 25G com.plexapp.plugins.library.db 197M com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-shm 26G com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-wal any suggestions? i tried the database optimization wich tooks 24 hours, i deleted a media library and again have to wait for another 24 hours for DB optimization to be completed. ChatNoir Posted October 9, 2020 Share Posted October 9, 2020 Hi, are you sure your issue is with the database size ? What was the size on your Debian ? Where is located your plex appdata ? HDD Array or SSD pool ? What is your hardware like ? Sharing your diagonstics in your next post might help to have a better picture of the situation. (Tools/Diagnostics) Quote Link to comment
