DannyDonahue
I have a 2TB HDD that doesn't have any data on it (well, 14GB from formatting to xfs, but no files). Is there an easy way to just swap that out with my new 8TB drive? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You still need to rebuild, or do a new config and re-sync parity. Quote Link to comment

Arguably rebuild is slightly easier and probably less likely to make errors, but people sometimes invent ways to make errors anyway. Let us know if you need more details about how to proceed.
