Matt Cole
Hey everyone, first off, I appreciate anyone who looks at this. Hopefully I haven't goofed up too much. I lost my flash drive so I went digging through the forums to get everything set back up. I had an old backup from before I had an HDD fail. Its not TOO far behind what my current setup actually is. I have a screenshot of how everything was setup recently because I was sharing it with a friend who was setting up their own unraid. This is the configuration of the last good working state: Parity - 1x 4tb disk Cache - 128gb SSD Disk1 - 4tb disk Disk2 - 1tb disk Disk3 - 4tb disk Disk4 - 3tb disk My current issue is that I'm not sure how to proceed. I have the array looking exactly like it should with the proper disk serial numbers in the proper disk slots. All devices are setup the same as my most recent screenshot. Unfortunately, disk1 is showing that its "wrong disk" so I'm assuming this backup was from before I replaced the failed one. Its also currently showing disk 3 & 4 as new devices. This is how it currently looks. Parity - 1x 4tb disk Cache - 128gb SSD Disk1 - 4tb disk (Wrong Disk) Disk2 - 1tb disk Disk3 - 4tb disk (New Device) Disk4 - 3tb disk (New Device) How do I proceed without losing the data? Thanks everyone! Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
If you are sure of the current configuration just do a new config, assign all disks to where they should be and check "parity is already valid" before starting the array. Quote Link to comment

Thanks for that! I'm 100% positive that the screenshot I have is exactly what it should be. Next up is figuring out how to create a new configuration. Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
