well to replay your original answer, they wont be used by unRaid and plugins. It will be "exclusive" for all running VMs, if you pin them you need to both isolate and pin them in the VM settings

Hello, I have windows 11 installed on Samsung 850 PRO SATA SSD [these are old MLC drives that easy benchmark 540Mb/s read writes] JMB585 in Gen 3.0 x1 slot with just this SSD, IOMMU, no VDISKS, its installed directly to SSD [I can boot without VM from bios too] I got 223MB/s Reads, 214MB/s Writes Samsung programs also says AHCI disabled What am i doing wrong here? P.S. I installed a driver pack that comes on Virtio 229-1 ISO file Thanks

If you run both VMs at same time you better split the cores 50/50 Otherwise there is no point in core isolation since both use them.

The issue is that the HELP section of Core Isolation mentions VM AND Dockers and thats what makes this confusing. I Isolated bunch of cores for VM and gave some of them to Dockers, but then community application said it will only use a SINGLE core if i give Dockers isolated cores. So you see where the confusion is? The Core Isolation Help specifically mentions dockers. Now after i know all of the above, i think the word Docker should be deleted from core isolation Help section.

You 100% Right But I searched with array on and array off, and the HUB option never appeared for me. After i toggled that setting now it works, either way with it off or on. I also uninstalled and re-installed some plugins that edit the UI like the power button plugin and bottom links plugin. Now it works

I use uBlock, but its disabled for this Ip from day one, also Ip whitelisted on edge browser white list Cache cleared Ill try another browser, but edge is Chromeium so everything should work

Hello, When i tried to run vm with iGPU i was told to select in IOMMU and passthrough this way [it didn't work anyway, Adler lake issues] So i installed GTX1030 For lols, i just selected the card in the VM settings, run VM, switched my tv Input and had signal. Does it mean there is no need to select the card in the IOMMU list or there is benefit for selecting it there? Im kind of confused now Question 2, is there a need for CPU core pinning on modern CPU [12700]? If its better i can do all the P cores to VM/Dockers and leave the 4 E-Cores for unRaid, in theory the 4 e cores should be enough for unRaid to run at max speed, also it will save some electricity, when i wont use VM these cores wont be touched [I IOMMUed PCie SATA card and when VM is not running POWERTOP shows it as 0%] P.S. Is there a way to pass the iGPU to VM as normal device, not as Graphics card, that will be Nvidia? [its done for encoding, i used iGPU on a PC with nvidia card to get free encoding engine] Regards

External machine and web browser log-in MS Edge = Chrome Is there a way to connect with some software instead of web browser? Like windows remote connection? I do have a bunch of shucked WD HDDs. These are the "famous" firmware limited to simulate 5900RPM, the motor spins at 7200rpm, they get hot like 7200RPM but never cross 200mb/s on good day, usually 180Mb/s is their top [unlike Seagate that easily does 250Mb/s even 290MB/s when 4Kn enabled] What would you do for your own PC? Take 3 WD 12tb or 14Tb drives, and use them as BRTFS volume with parity + virtual HDD for iSCSI? to have speed and protection Do what you recommended above, but pass 3 to windows and do storage space 2 drives with parity? Or maybe install ZFS plugin for unRaid and do ZFS volume the one with single parity disk [3 total] and then do a virtual iSCSI drive on it? Or since I don't really need that much space, iSCSI the 12tb Seagate IronWolf Pros and do RAID1 instead of RAID0 in windows [In theory i should get faster reads so at least ill have that] So many options....
