  1. thanks, i didn't realise it had been updated. its now backup and running.
  2. hey! been running absolutely fine. i've added a load of files to the folder it monitors and it doesn't do anything. i've deleted the image and started again, nothing has changed my end except..... i rebooted unraid. any suggestions?
  3. morning all, just been thinking about SSDs and temps. with the cold weather recently the spinning rust in my array has been sitting/working in 18-25 degrees celsius whilst the SSDs in unassigned devices are always in the 26 degrees and up. theres been a couple times in the summer when the temps are a lot higher that it gives me warnings for the SSDs. reason for the post, should i be setting higher temperature thresholds on the SSDs in unassigned devices as they are designed to run much higher? not touched anything so far, just wondered is all.
  4. Hmmm. seems getting a transcode going solved it.
  5. Hi! Just mounted the GPU in my Unraid system vertically with a riser cable to enable the slot beneath to be used for NVME hardware upgrade. just spotted on Dashboard that the PCI Gen now says 1? i updated Nvidia drivers and it still shows 1 (3) when before it showed 3 (3) as it is in a PCIe Gen 3 slot and is a Gen 3 card. the riser/ribbon cable says its gen3 [even though i didn't think that would mean anything since its just an extender] am i thinking into this too much and need to not worry or do i need to check elsewhere?
  6. Have you updated NUT, go back. A couple pages in this thread. The legend recompiled nut with the driver you need. you also need to enable at the top to use custom config to make the text edited ups.conf work I made a thread on it as well.
  7. you need to enter them in the ups.conf file i entered this: ups.conf Powercool 1000va [ups] driver = nutdrv_qx port = auto vendorid = 0001 productid = 0000 protocol = hunnox langid_fix = 0x0409 novendor noscanlangid default.battery.voltage.high = 27.50 default.battery.voltage.low = 21.40 default.battery.voltage.nominal = 24.00
  8. in an attempt to keep up with the cool kids. i updated my container from latest to "staging" i lost all ability to convert the media [its been running non-stop the last 2 weeks and had around 2 weeks to go converting TV] and so i rolled it back to latest aka old UI and now it all fails. where before it was ripping through it. same error each time now - "Error initializing output stream 0:0 -- Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height" haven't changed anything, even deleted all trace of the container and downloaded all over again. gutted i've wasted today on it, should've just left it to do it all on the current working setup. 9. No idea. I don’t know if it’s Unmanic or Plex or something else using up all the ram.
  10. Hi! logged onto my server this morning and noticed it rebooted itself a couple days ago. fix common problems reports "out of memory" issues. i have been running unmanic container to convert media to HEVC with my GPU in ram. i have 32GB ram and only run 1no worker so figured it wouldn't be too taxing but i then switched off all VMs just to reduce any prcoesses running. but having been plain sailing the past 35-40 days uptime to see it rebooted was a nuisance as it wasn't a safe shut down and it ran a parity check which finished last night. i've attached a diagnostics zip if someone could advise whats up? amjam-diagnostics-20210829-1153.zip
  11. Thanks for taking the time to give a detailed reply. I will leave it running to do it’s thing and then look at the plugin aspect. my aim (besides gaining space by converting to HEVC) is to lose audio/subtitles not required and make 95% of the library 720p from the 1080p some of it currently is. It seems to be cracking on with it. some have failed and I see the logs, I will do a bit of further reading before asking what the errors mean.
  12. this looks like a great tool. just a shame you cannot set it to remove multi-language audio, subtitles, etc and set a resolution so if there is a 1080p copy, make it 720p hevc. or am i missing these settings somewhere? edit - i'm all for supporting by patreon but i'd like to see what the plugins are first! potential issue now is that i've started the hevc process. if it does them all, will it ignore them all once i add a plugin that say, takes all audio out except english?
  13. got you. the capital I on Initialise. all working now. thank you very much for your help, support and patience!
  14. thats with initialise.... one says to not specify the parameter, the other one asks you to put it in??? thats just sync-icloud.sh
  15. this is what i get on the log when start it back up [after it stops itself] what am i doing wrong here, i'm lost.
  16. got you. that got going. but now this: is it something to do with the container variable for 2FA? it just doesn't want to work
  17. you can see I did that in the screen shot at the top and it gave an error. where do I do that command if not in console on the container?
  18. It just stops the container. Doesn’t do anything. how do I do that?
  19. i've deleted that option out of the container, tried as you suggested and this is what i get:
  20. https://hub.docker.com/r/boredazfcuk/icloudpd/ its been updated and removed the keyring? i cannot get it to login or work. i've deleted my key and tried to kickstart it but it isn't having any of it. any ideas on how to login?
  21. I think it’s kinda like the way RaspberryPi have moved on from SD booting to USB due to wrecking cards. I wouldn’t want that Achilles heel. to backup your flash drive. There is an auto backup you can with a plugin.
  22. yeah right, good luck with that. @dmacias doesn't respond to sh*t!
  23. Is there any reason why you’re using NUT instead of the built in UPS manager in unraid? APC works great with the built in one. It’s a couple items to the right of NUT settings.
