  1. too bad, thanks anyway. I swapped the power supply a while ago, maybe I swap it again to check. Also gonna check the RAM with some testing tools
  2. Hello everyone, so within the last 4 hours my server freezed / crashed again. The only thing the server was doing at this time was to upload backup files to my OneDrive cloud using the duplicacy docker. Maybe the attached logs can help. Thanks unraid-diagnostics-20210928-2252.zip syslog
  3. Thanks a lot. So I'll repot back after the next crash
  4. Hello everyone, a few weeks ago my server started to freeze from time to time. It happens again about an hour ago. The system keeps running but I can't log into the GUI or even ping the system. Only chance to get the server up and response again is a hard shutdown with the power button. It happens on different times and on all kinds of different loads. I run a couple of dockers and one Win10 VM. Is it possible to get any logs after a hard shutdown? At the moment the server is still running so I could try "something" you suggest. I really have no idea what could be the problem. Maybe the RAM, the mainboard or the power supply. Thanks a lot
  5. Just unassigned Cache 3 and added the drive to Cache, worked without any problems👍
  6. Thanks a lot Jorge. Checked the mark and the array started without any problem. When I tried I think I just oversee that mark 😅 One last question: Is it possible to swap / set / change the 2 remaning disk to Cache and Cache 2 and get rid of "Cache "not installed""? Thanks again
  7. Thanks for the replay. I set the (first) cache drive to "no" but then I cannot start the array (see my attachment) Any ideas? I have no clue also thought a swap in the cache pool is quite easy When I swap Cache and Cache 3 I can start the array but again with the unmountable error. Start the array anyway and run the diagnostics. Again see the attachments Thanks a lot unraid-diagnostics-20210508-1453.zip
  8. thanks for the replay. It is a quite old synology but maybe wireguard is option. at the moment at my mom's house a wireguard server my remote support is running anyway
  9. Hello everyone, at the moment I am running a single SSD cache pool with 3 drives. First I started with a single 500GB SSD, then I added a 1TB SSD and later another one. Currently cache is the 500GB, cache1 is 1TB and cache2 is 1TB. All drives are part of a btrfs pool. My goal is to remove the 500GB and just run the 2 1TB SSD in a 2-drive cache pool. So I stopped the array, set the cache(0) drive to unassinged and started the array. That did not work and the cache pool showed "Unmountable: Too many missing/misplaced devices" error. Next I set my newest 1TB SSD as the cache(0) drive and started again but the same error was shown. Is there a "simple" way to remove the "old" 500GB SSD or is move all the stuff from the cache to the array the way to go, also with a cache pool? Thanks!
  10. I don't know. I didn't create any symlinks within the appdata folder intentionally. Maybe CA Appdata Backup / Restore is the way to go
  11. Thanks for the replay. Run the mover a few minutes ago and the appdata folder is around 210MB This is the mover log
  12. Hello everyone, is it possible to add a remote Synology NAS with Unassigned Devices via the internet? The NAS is reachable through the Synology dynDNS service with the address "mom.myds.me" (not the real name). Uploads with filezilla and this adress are also possilbe. My main questions 1) is it possible? and 2) if so what is the right "mounting term" to connect it with Unassigned Devices I am running Version: 6.9.2 and Unassigned Devices 2021.04.19 Thanks!
  13. Hello everyone, I want to upgrade my main (and only atm) cache from a single 500GB SSD to 2 1TB SSDs. The way to go, as far as I read, is to set all the "Prefer cache shares" to "Yes cache drives", run the mover and swap the drives. So I disabled Docker and VM Manager in the settings an run the mover. Mostly all of the shares moved to the array but the appdata with some docker subfolderes isn't moving. Is there anything I can do to move the appdata to the array saftly without destroying my dockers? Thanks!
  14. Hello everyone, I have 2 NICs on my mainboard, currently working as bond0 with adaptive load balancing. Is it possible to run the Wireguard VPN (unraid server as client) at eth0 and the "normal" local ethernet / internet at eth1? I imported a working config file from my phone and my unraid server connected WG-server. (The Wireguard server is at my mom's house and there should my backups go with rsync / rclone) Thanks!
