  1. Linguafoeda's post in How to Re-Setup DuckDNS / Wireguard / NGINX Proxy Manager after Changing ISP & Router was marked as the answer
@Houmi @dgaglioni so i called my ISP and had them give me a new IP address and now the IP address that shows up under the WAN IP of the main router is the same as the IP address of any device connected to that router (before they weren't matching per comment #1344275 above).

so now https://www.duckdns.org/ is showing the same IP address of the router WAN IP. And when i try launch two of my active NGINX proxy manager apps i.e. https://emby.[SERVER].duckdns.org, it correctly works. success!

What isn't working is my Wireguard VPN to be able to remote manage my server. When i connect to wireguard VPN on my iphone, it shows it "connected" but won't launch anything. DuckDNS is presumably working since that above emby link is now live (as well as my other one - https://tautulli.[SERVER].duckdns.org/). Do i need to reset up something in Wireguard to make this work? I tried both RTA and RATL on my iphone while connected to 5G to see if it works... no luck.

EDIT: restarted server and it's working. Thank you all for the help!

  2. Linguafoeda's post in Server Crash: CPU and RAM being Taken to 100%, WebUI Unresponsive Requiring Unsafe Server Hard Shutdown on 6.12.6 was marked as the answer
as an update - a Plex employee told me this is a known bug with the BETA plex version 1.40.7775 which i had been inadvertently on. I changed the VERSION variable of linuxserver container from "latest" to "docker" and it downgraded me to 1.32.8.7639. the problem has disappeared. Hallelujah
  3. Linguafoeda's post in How to Upgrade / Swap Hard Drive in Same Physical Slot of Non-Parity Array? was marked as the answer
so for reference, did this with another server. here's the instructions I referenced: current system has 3x14TB drives and 2x8TB drives and no parity. Want to replace both the 8TB drives with a 18TB drive. what steps do i need to follow to move all the files off the two 8TB's to put them on my newly bought 18TB drive and make sure all my docker/everything works fine when i startup array again (I want the 18TB disk to be labeled "disk #4 vs. my 8TB are disk #4 and disk #5 today):

    1. insert new 18TB drive into physical slot #6, stop array, assign 18TB drive as disk #6 into array
    2. start array, format 18TB disk in array as XFS
    3. open unbalance, PLAN then COPY all files from Disk #4 (8TB) and Disk #5 (8TB)
    4. stop docker service in settings, stock VM service in settings, stop mover service
    5. Stop array, remove disk #4 & Disk #5 from array, physically remove Slot #4 and Slot #5 drives (both 8TB drives), move new 18TB disk from slot #6 to Slot #4
    6. Run new config process ("select all"; note this resets any custom settings like temperature for all disks!), then go back to Main and add 18TB drive as Disk #4
    7. Change share settings that previously included Disk #4 & Disk #5 of the old 8TB drives to include Disk #4 (new 18TB drive is now Disk #4)
    8. Restart docker / VM / Mover services
