  3. Woke up this morning to an error message similar to this one (but not the exact same) Next steps: Attempt to load a clean install of Windows 10 onto the SSD Load the updated BIOS Attempt to boot into the Unraid OS USB again T/S RAM issue, probably by swapping out sticks of RAM until I find the bad one, or inspect the RAM slots and see if I can find a bad one. Replace PSU, but I don’t want to go down that road until I know I can actually run UnRaid on this box Any help or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I started my last UnRaid build on an Old Dell tower, and that one went way better than this.
  4. How did you update the bios? I have an old (2010) Dell Inspiron 580s that I am trying to load unraid onto. I am not sure how to update the bios, without being able to load some form of OS first. And right now I can't get that far.
  5. I am so dumb, I looked and looked for it and couldn't find it. And 5 seconds after posting those screen shots, there it is, under the main tab. Thank you
  6. I recently transferred my unraid to a new case and motherboard. In the process I added a new 14 TB disk, the same size as my parity drive. I transferred everything to the new case, booted up unraid with the original 5 disk array (4 data plus 1 parity) with the new disk as an unassigned device. After I had the original set up working, I ran preclear on the new disk. Then, following instructions Adding Disks I stopped the array, added the disk to the array, and started the array again. The disk showed as unmountable with the error "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout" with no option to format. I figured something went wrong with the preclear, so i stopped the array, removed the disk (which showed a red x next to it and said "missing") started the array and ran preclear again. I then followed the instructions again, stopping the array adding the disk and starting again. This time the array started a parity check, as if I had replaced a damaged disk. I decided to let the process run and finish the parity check. Now I am here, back to an installed disk that is unmountable, with no option to format. How do I proceed from here? 7. So I got openvpn working again, but I still can't get the certificate to issue I get the following error Domain: bitwarden.XXXXX.xyz Type: dns Detail: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up A for bitwarden.XXXXX.xyz - check that a DNS record exists for this I have Gandi liveDNS set to redirect from bitwarden.XXXXX.xyz to XXXXX.duckdns.org using CNAME NAME TYPE TTL VALUE bitwarden CNAME 10800 XXXXX.duckdns.org
  8. Need Help Setting up swag for the first time . I have my own domain, and I have the DNS through my provider point the subdomains bitwarden.XXXX.xyz and nextcloud.XXXX.xyz at mydomain.duckdns.org. I currently have openvpn running, and when i go to my server address with openvpn enabled, it gets through to the server, so I'm pretty sure that the duckdns part is working. Not sure what I'm doing wrong TS1 Log.txt
  9. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.
  10. That's one of the one's I followed, I made those changes. Not sure why they didn't stick. I'll have to try again.
  11. Thanks, I will look into that tonight. Would that be a folder I have to create?
  12. I think your right. I was trying to setup Hardware transcoding, but since I barely know what I'm doing and just following internet tutorials, I screwed something up. It's up and running for now. Thanks for the help
  13. Solved. Removed the dev/dri path and it works now
  14. Solved. Removed the dev/dri path and it all works now.
  15. Ok, did it this time with right docker name, get the following: Error response from daemon: error gathering device information while adding custom device "/dev/dri": no such file or directory Error: failed to start containers: Plex-Media-Server
  16. Per FAQ I ran the docker start cops command and came back with the error Error: failed to start containers: cops which doesn't help very much
  17. While trying to solve an error in this post I made an edit to the Plex docker settings. I stopped the docker applications, stopped the array, rebooted the array, and started the containers again. When I went to start I got a server error. Removed the docker application, including the image, and re-installed the application with the same settings. same error. Not sure where to go from here.
  18. I removed the docker and reinstalled it. Same error
  19. So, I edited to /tmp. stopped the application, rebooted the array, and now plex has a server error. Now, how do I fix this?
  20. Based on this tuorial I set it to point to /tmp. We'll see if that works
  21. I can see that Host Path 2 (Container Path: /transcode) points to /mnt . Where is it supposed to point?
