  1. Can you clarify exactly how you did this (if you remember lol)?
  2. Hey @guyola did you find a solution to this?
  3. I see so could changing the fs type be a solution?
  4. Wait my cache pool is btrfs... Is that bad? I thought that was the default?
  5. Btw I want to mention the server is still accessible via keyboard and monitor, it's just unresponsive when accessing over the network
  6. so I changed the path for the download client docker and tried to download something, sever still froze 😢
  7. @JorgeB A few questions: If I were to set up a new disk share for downloading to the cache pool, would I need to manually move the items from that share to the original downloads share in the array? Also I do have a cache pool that the downloads go to but I would need to remove all other shares from accessing that pool? And the downloads wouldn't need to live in the pool right? I could move them after they are done?
  8. The docker image is on a separate cache pool along with the appdata and other system shares. But image path is /mnt/user tho
  9. Just found this thread after creating my own and wanted to say I'm also seeing this issue
  10. Before I ask about disk shares, I wanted to make 1 clarification. This unresponsive behavior also happens when the docker container updater downloads updates as well.
  11. Hi all, I have this weird problem where anytime I download something on my server, the server become completely unresponsive. It doesn't matter if I'm downloading torrents or something from the app store, until the download is finished everything is unresponsive. I have a 1 gig connection from Verizon and I've tried turning down the speed in QBittorrent to like 10mbs but I still see the issue. The other thing is that not only does the entire server become unresponsive, but many times so does my entire home network/Internet. All devices just time out when loading webpages or do anything. I've had my server for about 3 years and this problem started happening somewhat recently. Has anybody else experienced this? swagserver-diagnostics-20240630-1452.zip
  12. Sure, thanks for the insight!
  13. @primeval_god Are you aware of the https thing being an issue for anyone else?
  14. I think I may be facing a the same issue. I'm trying to get the web ui to redirect to the correct url (when i click the web url button its taking me to https://[SERVERIP].*****.myunraid.net/7575 instead of SERVERIP:7575) However I just noticed that the webui button might not be accepting the changes im making here (After changing the port in the UI Labels and even the compose file, the webui button still redirected me to 7575)
  15. Hey guys, I created another post a few days ago regarding moving my appdata to another cache drive (see embedded). After trying a few other ways, I tried to get the appdata moved over using the CA backup/restore plugin and a recent backup. The issue now is that when i opened up plex, it asked me to setup a new server. Ive lost all my custom posters/collections, none of the shows have skip intro anymore, etc. IDK if it not reading the metadata or what is going on. Is it possible to save this situation? Thanks!
  16. yeah ive been pushing off upgrading since ive got a stable server. Actually i found the diskmv tool for moving files and the consld8 been going for a couple hours. It might have been better to delete all the appdata and copy over from my backup lol. Thanks for your guy's help!
  17. Thanks, makes sense! I was thinking to do it manually but I've heard that we should not move files between drives. What would be the best way to move them manually? Also, i have, for example, Plex-Media-Server folder both on the array and the cache from the appdata. How can i easily combine the 2 folders from both drives without losing data?
  18. Hello, Im trying to move a few shares from my older cache to my new pool. I disabled, docker/vms, set the shares' cache settings to 'Yes', ran the mover, and set the shares back to 'prefer'. But there are still folders/files from the appdata share on the older cache. I just set appdata to 'yes' and tried to get the mover to move all the files from both pools to the array, but the older pool is still not moving its data. Can someone help me figure out what im doing wrong? Im attaching diagnostics. Thanks! swagserver-diagnostics-20220812-1417.zip
  19. Okay I see. So I was thinking of changing the pool to raid 5, but after reading around, it might not be such a good idea? Do you know why it's recommended against a raid 5 on unRAID? Also, what would you recommend for a pool that's used for downloading and storing appdata?
  20. Thanks for this. I was able to format the pool but when I checked the array size in the ui, it's showing the total capacity as 756GB and the free capacity as 501GB. I have 1 512GB SSD and 2 Crucial 500GB SSDs. If I set the balance to raid 1, shouldn't the capacity bee like 1000GB?
  21. Thanks for your response. I was able to follow your guide for mounting the cache to a different mount point and copied over the data from each drive (although I think all the drives had the same data since they where in a pool.) But I'm having a bit of trouble finding how to format the drives. Could you point me in the direction where I can find that?
  22. Hey guys, I'm getting errors on my unRAID server: Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdd1): csum failed root 5 ino 11057991 off 73400320 csum 0x491c2044 expected csum 0xf2770f0e mirror 1 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 3341754, rd 454753, flush 228253, corrupt 5, gen 0 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdd1): csum failed root 5 ino 11057991 off 73404416 csum 0x1b593b06 expected csum 0x8941f998 mirror 1 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 3341754, rd 454753, flush 228253, corrupt 6, gen 0 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdd1): csum failed root 5 ino 11057991 off 73408512 csum 0x722766e4 expected csum 0x8941f998 mirror 1 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 3341754, rd 454753, flush 228253, corrupt 7, gen 0 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdd1): csum failed root 5 ino 11057991 off 73412608 csum 0x09d94116 expected csum 0x8941f998 mirror 1 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 3341754, rd 454753, flush 228253, corrupt 8, gen 0 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): parent transid verify failed on 4369711218688 wanted 794631 found 791060 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): parent transid verify failed on 4368831709184 wanted 794326 found 791150 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdd1): csum failed root 5 ino 11057991 off 73629696 csum 0xb4e5e826 expected csum 0xd2b663e6 mirror 1 Feb 25 18:26:03 SwagServer kernel: BTRFS error (device sdd1): bdev /dev/sdc1 errs: wr 3341754, rd 454753, flush 228253, corrupt 9, gen 0 I've been trying to solve this on my own. I tried to see which file is at 11057991 and I've found that it's the docker.img file. I have tried to delete this file from the GUI, by following the guide, but I'm still getting the error and the file is not deleting. I then tried to delete it manually from command line but I get another error that says the cache is a read-only filesystem. I have also tried to restart the server and when I did I saw this error (see screenshot.) My sever has been down for over a week so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm attaching diagnostics as well. swagserver-diagnostics-20220225-1844.zip
  23. Hey @JorgeB just catching up here. To follow up on your first comment, if I were to perform a full balance, would that get rid of the data that's still on the cache (I still have appdata and other stuff on there.) Also I'm assuming that right now the cache is set up as a raid 1, hence why about 500 gb is being used up. Is that correct? If I perform the full balance it would keep it as a raid 1?
  24. Hey guys, Recently my cache pool filled up and I had to manually move everything over to the array(mover was not moving for some reason). Once I was done, I saw unRAID was showing I still had around 600gb used. I checked all the folders on the cache and could only see about 150gb worth of files. What's going on here? I've attached diagnostics, plus screenshots of my pool and what krusader shows. Thanks! swagserver-diagnostics-20211221-2239.zip
  25. Also, would you mind explaining how you look though the diagnostics/what you look for?
