every drive has already been shared. how to create one if I already have everything shared?!

flash share as in USB drive connected to unraid server? that works fine.

no problem copying over USB. so SMB seems to be broken. reading is fine, but writing does not work at all. permissions to the drives are OK (R/w).

even from another computer, the result is the same. it does not copy over. it wakes up the disk, but does not copy no matter which disk I use.

will try in 10 minutes to copy from laptop to unraid.

hi guys, no matter which drive I use, the copy process times out and gives me an error. copying from USB to the drives is no problem. what is going on? did not change a thing. permissions on the drives are fine (RW). best wishes.

Yes, I thought the cache drive would get deleted at boot.

So I will format again with encrypted XFS and I will remove the cache drive from the pool, right? is apodaca located also on the USB drive? wouldn’t it be better to put it on the faster NVMe cache drive?

hi at all, I just formatted my two test drives and was asking myself: are unpaid array drives encrypted by default? or can I just pull them out of the array and access files on another computer? Hi at all, can I buy these items and they should work just fine on my planned unraid system with 8+4(onboard) HDDs? or do I have to flash something in advance? HDDs are currently external 4TB and 8TB which (I guess) will have to have the 3.3v PIN isolated when they are shucked for internal use and will not show up, right? when upgrading CPU/RAM/Mainboard Unraid does not care in the future, does it? best wishes!
