General support seemed to be the only place I could post on this. If it needs to move, let me know. I have been using the Obico app by imagegenius for a while now. Suddenly, an update brought it to a "Server Error 500." After trying to diagnose I decided to remove Obico, its image and the appdata folder and start again. A fresh install did not fix the issue. I even tried installing an older version of the docker but still the same problem. Has any other Obico self-hosted user run into this same problem?

I service and manage 8 different Unraid servers. For months now, all of them have been listed as "offline" in Unraid Connect. I've updated each server to the latest version of the app and double check configurations multiple times and yet the problem still persists. Could someone provide me with a step-by-step process for completely removing Connect, deleting all background data concerning the app and then reinstalling and re-provisioning server so that I can start again with Connect? I'm almost ready to give up on using Connect completely but I want to give it a clean start and see what happens.

Actually, Unraid Connect is not connecting properly to any of the servers that I manage. I have the latest plugin and have gone over the server settings several times. I am not sure what is going on but of the 8 servers I manage, all of them are listed as "offline." They have been this way for months.

Unraid connect does not currently function on any of the 8 Unraid servers I help maintain. Any idea on the potential fix release?

I keep trying to set a static port for Management Access. I make the change, apply and when I refresh the page everything is back to UPNP. I have this issue on every Unraid server I manage. What is up?

When you say "set up a user and give access to share(s)" do you mean in Unraid, in CrushFTP or both? I am very familiar with Unraid but feel like I am poking around in the dark on CrushFTP.

Any guidance on that?

Yes, I did search apps but it seemed that the tools I see there are for downloading from an FTP source (that is, if I understand their descriptions correctly)

Greeting Ladies and Gents, I manage a server for a friend's machine shop. They have an old Sharp copier that they use for blueprints (works great) and scanning to the server. I had Proftpd setup since the only protocol the old server uses for scanning to network is FTP. (I told you that the copier is old.) Proftpd no longer works in Unraid 7.0 so I need an alternative. Any suggestions?

Nevermind. I pulled the USB drive out of the server, plugged it into my Windows laptop and could see the files on the USB. I quickly copied the entire contents of the USB drive just as a precaution. Then I noticed the "make bootable" bat file and thought "What the heck, let's try it." so I ran the bat file as an administrator Plugged the USB back into the server and the server booted! The first thing I did was enable flash backup under Management Access. So, do you think I should replace that USB drive?

I remember distinctly setting up the cloud backups of my main server's USB with Unraid connect. It seems that my USB drive has gone sideways and will not boot. I went to my Unraid Connect dashboard and USB backups is now disabled for my main server. I did not disable it so I don't know what happened. In addition, when I choose "Flash Backup" near the bottom of the Left menu on Unraid connect, main server is not listed and has no backups. What do I do now?

Diagnosis step 1: I'd like to ask a question to make sure that I'm not assuming incorrectly. Would you suggest starting with the power supplies? My rig has redundant power supplies. One is plugged directly into the wall and the other is connected to a UPS. Feel free to correct me if I'm assuming wrongly but would not the backup battery keep me going on one power supply if one of the power supplies was faulty or not powerful enough to handle the load? It seems astronomically unlikely that both power supplies would be failing at the same time. In the process of trying to hunt down this problem, I noticed that the UPS that I'm using has a 600 watt Max but my processors can pull to 900. If the server is pulling too much on the UPS, would not the power supply plugged directly into the wall keep everything going? Diagnosis step 2: Before this random shutdown issue began, I changed two things. (I know, the troubleshooting demons come out when you change more than one variable.) I upgraded both processors in my server and upgraded Unraid to the latest version. Any suggestions on testing if the processors are the issue? I know enough to be dangerous so I thought I would reach out to people who know more than I do. Thanks ahead of time for the input.

Friends, I have been trying to figure out why this Unraid server keeps shutting down randomly. I have looked through the log files and cannot find anything that stands out to me. My rig has dual power supplies, one of which is on a UPS. Even so, the server shuts down as if someone pulled the power cords. Attached is the current log file but I have had syslog writing to the USB, if you need those logs. I am at a loss and not sure where to go from here. My Parity 1 drive is now disabled on the Unraid dashboard. Before a reboot the warning said "Parity Disk in error state" but it seems to be passing smart tests. I am attaching a diagnostic file. How can I tell if the drive is dying? jonesserver-diagnostics-20240813-1610.zip

What if the only command capable is to power the server on? All other actions are locked down?

Is it possible to add IPMI power on to the Unraid Connect plugin? For those of us with servers that have IPMI capability, it would be awesome to be able to power back on a server that is shut down. Even though many servers have a bios option to power the server back on when electricity is restored, this does not always work. Adding this feature to Unraid Connect would give the user more control.

So my server has IPMI and I have a PI. I would like to set this up, mainly to deal with the frequent power outages in my area. I have Wireguard on my server, which I use often. Can I have a second instance of Wireguard running on a PI without problem? (I am guessing it would need to be on its own port) or would I need to just run it on the PI and leave the Unraid instance off? Thoughts?

For anyone who wants to try Receipt Wrangler on Unraid, I could not get llamagpt or Serge to work with it. I am trying Google's Gemini instead.

This app does not have a support link that points to the Unraid forum. That is why I posted my question on general support. I was trying to find out if anyone has tried this on Unraid. It turns out that the settings that I have are enough to find Mariadb, as long as Receipt Wrangler is in the same virtual network as Mariadb. Once Receipt Wrangler is started one time, I had to use terminal and edit a config.prod.json file in the appdata/receipt-wrangler-api/config directory. I used the following link to get my settings for the json file (https://github.com/Receipt-Wrangler/.github/blob/main/configuration/configuration.md). One AI option for Receipt Wrangler is llamagpt. I am trying the Serge Unraid app but set the config.prod.json file as "llamagpt" so we will see how it goes. I am not getting any errors in the log so far. Sounds promising.

I am trying to set up the Receipt Wrangler app on my Unraid using Mariadb that is already part of my system. I have created a Mariadb/mysql user and password for Receipt Wrangler but I am trying to decipher the variables that I need to create in the Unraid Receipt Wrangler template. I have the following variables set: 3 Path Variables for Config, Data & Logs (each set to /mnt/user/appdata/receipt-wrangler-api/ ending in "config," "data," or "logs" respectively) I have also set the following Environmental Variables MYSQL_DATABASE=wrangler MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD={youthinkiwouldbecrazyenoughtopostthishere?} MYSQL_USER=wrangler MYSQL_PASSWORD={youthinkiwouldbecrazyenoughtopostthishere?} I cannot seem to figure out what variable(s) I need to set to tell it to use Mariadb, its port and its location in the system. I am diving into this conversation. I noticed that TheBird956 is running Unraid 6.12.8. I have 7 Unraid servers that I manage. I recently upgraded 2 of them from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8 and now both of the upgraded servers are randomly shutting down. I have Virtual Syslog Server running on a Windows machine in the office of one of the upgraded Unraid servers to hopefully catch some log files of what is going on. I am posting something here so that others can add if they are experiencing similar issues.

Ran the check again without the -L Looks good to me. Thoughts?
