  1. I have an AP-LR and I'm on 7.2.95 with no issues. The AP-LR won't update anymoe, but you can IMO safely upgrade the rest of your equipment. I have for many many versions with no issue. There is a few things you can't do as long as you have the old AP, like e.g. assign devices to a specific AP, but otherwise you are fine. No reason to downgrade at all.
  2. I just moved my array of 16 disks from using reverse breakout cables directly to disks over to a 24 bay InterTech server cabinet https://www.inter-tech.de/productdetails-142/4U-4424_EN.html with a SAS backplane for each row, and connection to four rows with 8087 SAS cables to the backplane from my two IBM M1015 flashed to LSI9211-8i IT mode (running on an Asus X99-WS/IPMI). Migration was completely transparent, unRAID automatically found all the drives, and booted as if nothing had happened, except the disks didn't spin down. I quickly found this plugin, installed it, and voilรก - spin down working flawlessly! So this post just to confirm my configuration is working with the plugin, and first and foremost a big thank you for building and maintaining this @doron ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  3. Just remember to do the final updates to the UAP's before you go too far down the upgrade road (if you have not done so already)
  4. Soon-ish, but so far no issues at all (that I have noticed)
  5. I was sitting fine on 5.10.14 for a looong time๐Ÿ˜ด, but now wanted to upgrade, due to a U6 LR AP I finally will mount, the log4j-bug and also I have to install a new site at some friends house, and they will have a version 6 controller (on a RPi), so I have to look a little ahead into version 6 ๐Ÿง. Anyway - earlier in the thread, positive confirmations was sought for, so just for reference for anyone else coming from old v5.x-versions, I successfully upgraded in two steps. The path I took was: 5.10.14 --> 5.14.23-ls76 --> 6.5.55. No issues whatsoever. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Also, I will just mention, that my old EOL'ed UAPv2 (used for improved outdoor coverage) still works - I updated to the last ever firmware for it just before upgrading the controller. It works as before, just has a little yellow warning sign next to it indicating that its EOL. Next step will be to install the U6 LR, that I have had laying for far too long ๐Ÿ˜ For reference, my UniFi equip list: USG, US-8-150W, US-8-60W, US8, 2*UAP-AC-LR, UAPv2.
  6. Reporting 2.27TB be moved from a 2TB drive with 162GB free??? I have one ReiserFS disk left in my system, that I would like to empty and convert to XFS. However, after planning, the Plan says it will move 2.27TB from a 2TB drive with only 1.84TB data. Also - in the GUI it suggests 2.27TB, in the log 2.11TB Does this mean, that some files on that disk are corrupt in some way (I would assume yes)? Any suggestions for how to proceed? Thanks in advance for input.
  7. I made a very similar mistake - or at least ended up with the same issue๐Ÿ˜– However - the procedure above with btrfs-select-super -s 1 /dev/sdX1 and btrfs-select-super -s 1 /dev/sdY1 saved me ๐Ÿ˜… Thank you so much @Robb3rt for posting here ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿค˜
  8. I have a similar issue - any solution yet?
  9. Regarding anniversaries: Later this year I will have the big 10 year anniversary with unRAID ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Through all these years, unRAID has always had my back. Just now, I'm in the process of finally leaving my old setup with unRAID running in a vSphere VM alongside other Windows VM's, and in stead let unRAID be the host. I think it will be better that way ๐Ÿ™‚ It would for that reason be ever the more appropriate with a sticker for my server ๐Ÿ˜ Anyway - keep up the excellent work guys - Happy Birthday! /Niels
  10. Download starts but stops as nothing gets written to disk Hi. Feels like I'm so close - but yet so far away I have the app running, VPN works, I can see it on CheckMyTorrent both with VPN turned on and off When I start, I get connections to many peers, but they soon die out - I assume because nothing gets written After each recent attempt to change the configuration, I have tried to add a fresh torrent to ensure nothing old was in play To me it looked a lot like a permission issue, so I have tried moving the download location multiple times - even creating a special folder for it. All for locations with permissions "Public". Still no result. Log and config attached. What to do next? Thanks for any input - I'm sure it's a simple thing... log.txt core.conf
  11. For me, the issue disappeared - I think with 6.1.7 - maybe earlier . I can at least confirm that 6.1.7 does not have the issue here.
  12. Just wanted to say [glow=red,2,300]THANK YOU![/glow] for this docker I have had a full ESXi Virtual Windows installation reserved only for uTorrent and the VPN client plus virus/malware scanners etc. - a quite heavy setup, sluggish and a lot of waiting time every time it was started. This one is Soooooo much easier, lighter and so far appears to just work. Brilliant stuff. Quick question: Is this guaranteed to only be active through the VPN - i.e. if the VPN connection drops or signon fails, then nothing is sent/received?
  13. Yes - I removed and reinstalled, and all is good now. Just had to redo configuration of what to backup. Thanks.
  14. Any suggestions how I get it running properly again? More documentation needed?
  15. Black screen in the UI. Hi. I played around with an early version of the docker - left it for some months, and now I have installed the newest version. I got it working fine first time. Then after a day or two, my server got completely unresponsive. I can't say it's this Dockers fault, but the server is normally otherwise stable. Now - after a hard reset, parity check and a few restarts, I'm trying to get the docker started again. I can start it, but when I go to the WebUI, either directly from the docker icon or from a VNC-client, there is just a black box and a mouse cursor. How do I get the UI back? Log attached. Clipboard_Text.txt
  16. @JimPhreak: No - sorry for being incorrect in stating "passthrough of the port" rather than "adding" - my mistake. @smdion: As my Supermicro board only has the one controller (as I understand/remember it), I would have nowhere to boot ESXi from if I passed the controller through, leaving me with no USB ports left... So I will have to wait for the issue to be hopefully solved soon. At least things appear to work regardless of the logging.
  17. Not sure what you need apart from the previous screenshot. Tell me a bit more in detail how to find what you need, and I'll be happy to help!
  18. I passthrough the port, not the controller - see my config attached.
  19. I used to do that as well, but just upgraded both ESXi (from 5.5) and unRAID(from 5.0.4), and while I was at it thought I would just test the improved plop: PlopKexec. It is MUCH faster at booting! I just timed it (see my config in signature): Power on until finished reading kernel and starting "running text": 30 secs Power on until login prompt: 1 minute flat! So now I just boot using the plopKexec ISO never looking back again to the vmdk-method.
  20. I have just upgraded, and unfortunately I also get these warnings Jul 19 17:16:14 Tower kernel: usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pci Jul 19 17:16:14 Tower kernel: sd 4:0:0:0: [sdn] 3987456 512-byte logical blocks: (2.04 GB/1.90 GiB) Jul 19 17:16:59 Tower kernel: usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pci Jul 19 17:16:59 Tower kernel: sd 4:0:0:0: [sdn] 3987456 512-byte logical blocks: (2.04 GB/1.90 GiB) Jul 19 17:17:40 Tower kernel: usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pci Jul 19 17:17:40 Tower kernel: sd 4:0:0:0: [sdn] 3987456 512-byte logical blocks: (2.04 GB/1.90 GiB) My USB key is a Kingston DataTraveler 2.0 2GB
  21. I realise now, that I missed this step when I flashed my first card: 6. Program SAS address in IT-mode: sas2flsh -o -sasadd 500605bxxxxxxxxx where "500605bxxxxxxxxx" SAS address from small green sticker on yor card, without "-" Despite me missing this, it is humming away nicely in my now converted production box on 5.0.12a. BUT - I now have a second card, that I 'm intending to integrate. I did the reflash including step 5 on the only machine I have been able to. Then I figured I would reboot to do step 6 - also to read the sticker for the number. Unfortunately, that machine now can not boot, as it is hanging at the BIOS of the adapter. So I have no option at my disposal to do step 6 on any of the cards. Will I have any issues in an unRAID scenario by having two cards that has both not been through step 6 to get individual addresses?
  22. You mean apart from "This promotion is only available to end user customers based in the UK" ? D'OH! Note to self: Don't try to read small print on excitingly good offers at 2:30 AM...
  23. But I see nowhere in the terms that this is UK only. And with EU regulations and all, I should be able to buy one to Denmark. I regularly buy other stuff from the UK (even 17" tires!!!), so it should be absolutely possible... Hmmm.. better finish my build first. But ยฃ150 - that's just too cheap to pass on
  24. Sorry, but no idea what exact card you are referring to. If you can post that info it would be helpful. Thanks. Sorry - I realised the actual card model is only mentioned in my Pleiades build not in my reflash post above Card to be flashed: IBM M1015 Method: DOS boot disk. P11 firmware. Zerons batch file. Successful on: HP Workstation XW9300 - chipset nForce Professional PAL error on: Supermicro X9SCM-F AsRock P45R2000 Not recognised on (did not do a huge investigation here, maybe it can be under certain conditions): A8N-SLI Premium
