  1. An update for the game (major version i think). It was working fine the previous days. The docker logs does not show much, the update is downloaded but it looks like the server terminate itself after the start. For what i read while trying to fix the server is that the last version may need a dependency (missing or outdated) from the container. I even tried with a fresh server (and fresh steamcmd) but it still fail. Then i switched to "Core-Keeper-Dedicated-Server" and have no issue. I can provide logs if you need to, but depending on my tests, they are not always the same (no options vs option -crossplay and/or -batchmode and/or -nographics)

  3. Hello, I think there is an issue with Life in the village 3. On my server, when players try to go to the nether, the server crash. If I restart it, it crashes again as soon as the player that was in the nether comeback online. I find out it's because of a mod called Amplified Nether. It received a patch that fix the problem on July 31, but I guess since the last update for life in the village's community app was a few days before that, it does not include it. On my side I fixed it by removing the mod from the "mods" directory. Looks like it's persistent through restarts. I guess you could also replace it with a more updated version of the mod. I also had to remove the DIM-1 folder in the “world” directory to reset the nether. Seem to work fine since. Hope it can help someone ^^
  4. If you're talking about the Failed to create a game error, it shows up before I even seen you made a proton version. Regarding the save file replaced by an empty one, I created the proton while the wine one was running (using same ports, so I expect it to fail, I just wanted to download the docker images). Then I turned off the Wine version, started Proton again, so it can download the game. At the end of the process, the save game was empty. I forgot to turn the server off before I added the save file (Oops). On restart, my save was replaced with an empty one. So this time, I turned it off properly, copy save file once again then started the server. It seems to work fine since. To be clear, I don't need any assistance, things mostly works fine for me. I'm just sharing my experience in case it can help someone else to figure if something is “normal” or not ^^
  5. I had the same issue when I imported the save from Wine to Proton. Then I shut down the server, tried again and it worked. Don't know if it's related, but I did the import before the server had a chance to create his own new save (folder was empty). On the second try, folder was already populated with a new savefile and it's .backup file. Maybe it needs that .backup file to work properly. Otherwise, Proton seems to run better than Wine. Less CPU usage while no players are connected. Still have to check when users are online. Also, yesterday on the Wine version, my user reported they cannot connect anymore. They got an error message that says something like "Failed to create a game". Hope that the Proton version won't have the same issue.

  7. I did the opposite, and it worked fine. There is just 1 file that you need to copy. The hardest part was to find where the game client store your saves
  8. Yeah, i tried again. My mistake was trying to reach the game port instead of the query port... Works fine with query port, both on local and public IP On my i3 10100k with 40G of RAM, server run fine as long as I'm alone. But if 1 or 2 people join me, we got a message in the bottom left corner every few seconds that say server is loaded, and we may encounter issues. Even when I'm alone, the server stays at around 50 - 75% cpu usage. While RAM don't usually go over 3 Gigs I tried your website. It says that all the ports related to a game are mark as closed. For some reason when I check port 22, it says it's open (and it's true) Yeah, with your setup your "CPUs really never get over 25%" sounds logic x)
  9. How many users connected on the server ? What is your CPU ?
  10. I tryed that. Did not work for me. With public or local ip. Steam just wont see it, even now. Maybe something wrong on my side.
  11. Hi, On my side, i got the conf right. But can't find it either. I had to wait like 2 H then restarted the server. Now it's working fine. Well, beside the high CPU usage.
  12. Thanks dude. You allow me to end my (long) search for a solution. It fixed instantly my playback issue on web browser and android app. I don't even know for how long I had this issue since I'm mostly using PC clients, but feel good to get rid of this issue :)
